I like a lot of things about my school. It has a community, but also can be cliquey and exclusive. It i predominantly white, which can contribute to some erasure of other races and ethnicities.
Phoenixville has its ups and downs. It’s very small and over capacity and hallway traffic is just impossible. Teachers are hit or miss but there are definitely some diamonds in the rough. There’s proper college readiness but this school goes easy on you. Lots of class options and duel enrollment opportunities!
The school itself had many issues with falling apart and breaking. Many of the teachers were great and passionate about what they did. I’d like to see a focus on this age group though. Middle and elementary and early learning have all gotten the needed updates. The high school needs it!
