Code Name: Foxfire (NBC 1985, Joanna Cassidy)

Code Name: Foxfire, a vintage spy drama series that aired on NBC in 1985, showcased the thrilling cases of a trio of government agents. Led by Elizabeth “Foxfire” Towne, who had recently been released from jail for a crime she didn’t commit, the team also consisted of Maggie “The Cat” Bryan and Danny O’Toole. Their operations were overseen by Larry Hutchins, who had established the agency.

The show premiered on January 27, 1984, with a special 120-minute episode followed by subsequent 60-minute episodes. Unfortunately, despite its promising premise and talented cast, Code Name: Foxfire was short-lived and ended its run on March 22, 1984.
