I like Asian cuisine and here in London, Mandarin is the best one. Although their menu has been changed due to COVID-19 situation, they tried to maintain the quality and services by changing mode to small eat format and small portions. It`s environment was warm...and pleasant and the staff were tidy and well-trained like every other branch I visited in Ottawa and Toronto before. Since it was a couple of week before Christmas in December, they offer some present and calendar free of charge. I know there is a hard time for restaurant business in this condition, but they did very good at out last visit. Thank you Mandarin.More

I order from Mandarin at least a few times per month. I ordered again today and it was so great! A number of times they gave me a free slice of pie with my order, today though they gave me four free butter tarts and...they were so good! I am single so when I order its enough food for my dinner and enough leftovers for the next day. Today I had some extra money so I thought I would add Moo Goo Gai Pan to my order because I love it so much but never tried it from Mandarin. It was so great and there was so much of it that along with the other food I ordered (I always order the same combination a) I have enough food for lunch and dinner tomorrow. Their chicken fried rice is the best chicken fried rice I've ever had (that's not my favorite though, the sweet and sour pork is amazing!). I had it delivered and was so impressed again that I called them back to tell them how great it was, thank them for the free butter tarts and tell them that I am going to write a review online if I can find a place to do it. She asked my name and phone number and was so happy and thankful for my call that she added a $5 credit for my next order! I thought Mandarin was already great, today they became even greater! I tried to upload a picture of the Moo Goo Gai Pan but it won't let me so I can only add a picture of the combination a which is so much better than it looks! Jason McCombMore

I was there as part of a large group for a Christmas lunch. Unfortunately I am celiac and there are no labels with ingredients or warning of allergens. I basically could eat salads and not much else to avoid the risk of getting sick. I...would usually avoid this restaurant because of their lack of clear labelling on the foods. Mandarin has a variety of foods on there buffet for the whole family. I prefer the lunch time atmosphere as the evening can be very busy and you need to make a reservation. I do ilke there new location located in the Hyde Park area....Staff are very friendly and helpful.More

Ordered $70 worth on Saturday night with the significant other. Egg rolls were meh, Lemon chicken had the sauce ON it, which made it soggy (even though it said on the side in description) the sweet and sour pork was chewy, lo mein was tasteless...and the rice was gross ...who puts corn in rice?? If that wasn't bad enough later that night we were both sick. What a waste of moneyMore

The mandarin is no longer a budget-friendly visit. 2 adults +2 kids (fountain drink each) = $150. Sure, you can eat as much as you want, but a 45 year old doesn't pound back the plates, nor does a 5 or 10 year old who...pay 1/2 adult fees. The quality of the food is alright, but nothing particularly specacular, and the birthday rules now force you to have 4 adults to qualify for a free meal. OK so mandaintre is supposed to be all you can eat?? !Right?? Well guess again it is not you think for the price they charge you it would be!! Your supposed to be able to get as many plates as you like that's whats they...advisers well they count how much food yu take!! The workers they have handle the food count what yu eat ,the even get the Manger involved as well as the owner so if your over weight or take a few plates of food or derrsert the server 🤔 who handle the food watch you like a hawk and if yu take a few plates of food or dessert 🍨 the people handle the food get the Manger and the owner and they give you a hard time and tell yu that yu have eaten to much of there food!! !! Wow we were floor that because we're a little heavier set and yu have a few plates of food or have more then one plate of derrsert they give you a hard time!! So there goes they advisers of all u can eat or the prices your paying 🤔 for this food which is supposed to be all you can eat!! Food good for people who enjoy quantity over quality. Won ton soup was very disappointing…watery broth, mushy oatmeal texture inside noodles.Hot and sour soup was very bitter. Small steak pieces were inedible…tough, tough, tough.Spring rolls had texture of a heated up leftover. Maple spareribs tasted...like pieces of fat and gristle covered with sweet sauce. This Mandarin far exceeds many of the other Mandarins. Service is always top notch, managers go around and make sure everything is excellent and food is always fresh. Very clean and always good. Been to many Mandarins but this one always is the best. Love...the Wellington St Mandarin....More

We were very pleased with the service and the food, a wonderful & clean buffet. You can always find food- even for the pickiest eater. The variety is amazing. We do find the price a bit high but understand the overhead they must cover. People...only think about the cost and amount of the food they consume yet fail to realize all the other costs involved providing this type of establishment. I suggest using the Mandarin for special occasions, if this is a concern. Otherwise... enjoy your meal.More

We were a family group of 17 cousins meeting from Guelph, Windsor and London. Our server, Amanda, was very attentive and friendly. The buffet was amazing with a wide array of fresh choices, all labeled including calories. Two birthdays were acknowledged with photos made into...fridge magnets! Amanda brought us hot towels when we were finished eating and assured us that there was no rush. We were very impressed. Thank you for creating a wonderful memory.More
