This criminally under seen tv-movie, somehow, despite the strict limitations of network decency guidelines, manages to be one of the most sleazy and unflinchingly honest and gut wrenching character studies I’ve seen in quite awhile. Few films, let alone tv ones, will delve into the very real and prevalent tragedy of wasted potential, or what’s worse, a wasted life.
Victoria Principal, from Dallas fame, is a much better actress than she is given credit for - in fact, she blew me away. Hers is one of the best unremembered, unsung performances of the small screen, period.
