At the top of 2020, Pink and her husband Carey Hart celebrated 15 years of marriage! The “So What” singer took us all down memory lane with an Instagram post full of golden throwbacks.

“15 years. Proud of us babe. See, sometimes being stubborn pays off,” she wrote. “What a wild ride it’s been, once we learned how to stay in our race line. Here’s to at least the next 15 months hahaha. I love you and I love our family.

It hasn’t always been smooth sailing for these two. But a few breakups and a couple of kids later, they’re strong as ever.  So in honor of these two love birds reaching a milestone anniversary, we’re taking a look back at their relationship.

2001: They Meet at the Summer X Games and Begin Dating

The "What About Us" singer and Hart met at the Summer X Games in Philadelphia in 2001. Pink has said in interviews that she was drawn to him for his bad-boy persona, according to Pop Sugar. The singer and motocross racer soon began dating.

2003: They Split for the First Time

The two broke up in 2003 for a brief period of time. The "Raise You Glass" artist told USA Today that the bad-boy behavior got old quickly. "The excitement wears off," she said after she spent “a couple [of] nights in the hospital with him when he's broken" 

2005: Back Together and Engaged

The two reunited and became engaged when Pink proposed at one of his races by holding up a sign that read, “Will you marry me,” according toPop Sugar. How progressive of her! He obviously said “yes!”

2006: Wedding in Costa Rica

The couple tied the knot on a laid-back beach ceremony in Costa Rica. Pink’s Monique Lhuillier dress was so fit for her complete with a big satin black bow and matching hair ribbon.

2008: They Call It Quits—Again—But Then Reunite

After two years of marriage, Pink announced on her website that the couple was separating, according to Pop Sugar. The statement read, "The most important thing for you all to know is that Carey and I love each other so so much. This breakup is not about cheating, anger, or fighting. I know it sounds like cliché bullsh*t, but we are best friends, and we will continue to be." The breakup was the inspiration behind her 2008 smash hit, “So What.” She opens the song singing, “I guess I just lost my husband, I don’t know where he went.” According to Us Weekly, Pink says the song was a “vomiting of truth” and responsible for their reconciliation after she asked him to be in the music video.

2011: Welcome to the World, Willow!

The two welcomed a new family member in June 2011. Pink shared the birth of her daughter Willow on Twitter writing, “We are ecstatic to welcome our new beautiful healthy happy baby girl, Willow Sage Hart. She's gorgeous, just like her daddy."

2016: The Family Hits the Red Carpet Again

The family made another adorable appearance together at the premiere of Alice Through the Looking Glass. Willow wore an adorable sparkly dress with some biker-chic boots—taking after her mom, no doubt.

2016: The Family is Growing!

In December 2016, Pink and Hart welcomed another bundle of joy into their family. Their son, Jameson was born just one day after Christmas.

Pink, Hart, and Willow suited up for another red carpet family outing. The internet could not get over the cuteness of this fam outfit-coordinating.

February 2019: Pink Receives a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

Pink is honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles, and the unveiling ceremony is a family affair.

During an interview with Entertainment Tonight at the CMA Awards, Pink said that after a two and half year recording and touring stint that she would take a break from music to spend more time with her family. "Willow is back in school now and Jameson's gonna start preschool soon, so it's kind of the year of the family," she said.

June 2020: Pink Opens Up About Couples Counseling

According to Us Weekly, Pink revealed that she and Hart have couples counseling to thank for the longevity of their relationship. “It’s the only reason that we’re still together because, you know, I think partners after a long time, we just speak — I can’t say it’s a man and woman thing, I think it’s a partner thing, a spouse thing — that you just speak two different languages,” she said.

2020: Sweet Birthday Tributes

Hart gave Pink the sweetest Instagram tribute on her 40th birthday.

Happy birthday to my MUCH better half, @pink,” he wrote. “I’ve been w/ you for almost half of your life! It’s been so amazing to watch you grow from a young hell raiser, to the best mom to ever do it, role model, philanthropist, icon, and wife. Enjoy your birthday baby. Willz, jamo, and myself love you”

Pink also wished her hubby a happy 45th birthday in July 2020. 

“Happy birthday @hartluck I still remember your 27th birthday. You’re so much cooler now,” she wrote. “I hope this year is your happiest. #youdeservethebest your kids worship you and I am grateful for you every single day almost”

September 2020: Pink Gets Candid About Marriage

Pink opened up about therapy and their marriage in an Instagram post.

“He and I have been at this a long time, and it is our relentless and stubborn idealism that keeps us together,” the singer wrote. “Marriage is awful, wonderful, comfort and rage. It is boring, terrifying, and a total nail biter. It is loving another fallible creature while trying to love yourself.”

January 2021: 15th Wedding Anniversary

Both Pink and Hart commemorated the impressive milestone with sweet Instagram tributes. 



“15 years w/ this amazing woman! Damn, baby!!!!!” Hart wrote. “There is no other woman that I would want to go through this crazy world with than you. Thanks for being a great friend, wife, mother, and person. “
