In the liner notes is mentioned that these recordings were made on April 11, 1970, but the calendar on www.allmanbrothersband.com shows that The Allman Brothers Band played at Ludlow Garage on April 4 & 5, 1970 and that the April 4 concert was recorded.

The liner notes of the CD releases 'Dreams' (Polydor 839-417, 1989), 'Skydog: The Duane Allman Retrospective' (Rounder Records 11661-9137-2, 2013), 'Idlewild South - Deluxe Edition' (Mercury Records 602547346087, 2015) and 'Idlewild South - Super Deluxe Edition' (Mercury Records 602547346476, 2015) also mention that these recordings were made on April 11, 1970.

Prior to the official release these recordings were also released as a bootleg CD:

(The Swingin' Pig Records, TSP-CD-033-2, 1989).

This bootleg CD contains the extra track 'In Memory Of Elizabeth Reed'.

'In Memory Of Elizabeth Reed' was officially released in 2015 on 'Idlewild South - Deluxe Edition' (Mercury Records 602547346087) and 'Idlewild South - Super Deluxe Edition' (Mercury Records 602547346476).

Duane Allman plays on all tracks.
