He faces a constant barrage of life's little annoyances, which in David's sometimes well-meaning but terminally fumbling hands don't tend to stay small for very long. Episodes frequently center on his ignorance of or disregard for well-established social conventions and expectations, as well as his insistence that others adhere to rules of which only he seems to be aware. Developed from a 1999 one-hour special on HBO that was envisioned as a one-time project, the series premiered in October 2000. Read More Read Less Watch on Fandango at Home Buy Now

Finally closing the door while not making a big deal of it, Curb Your Enthusiasm bows out as cranky and shaggy as ever.

Lili Loofbourow Washington Post Larry David — the character — is essentially merry, quintessentially secure, and startlingly untroubled by self-hatred to the very end. Apr 8, 2024 Full Review Matthew Gilbert Boston Globe It’s odd to feel sentimental about such an abrasive show, but there it is. I remain a fan of “Curb,” even as it is in season 12, a lesser thing than it was when it started. Apr 5, 2024 Full Review Bill Wyman Slate The truth is that Curb should have ended with its last season. The current one has been a disaster of epic proportions, a disheveled, unfocused, annoying mess. Mar 29, 2024 Full Review Lindsay Traves Pajiba ...It feels special to reflect on a cringe-comedy about a spin on a real guy’s experiences that allowed all of us to laugh at some of our worst impulses. Apr 10, 2024 Full Review James Walton The Spectator I still don’t know how Larry David gets away with it -- but I’m grateful that he does. Mar 14, 2024 Full Review Aidan Smith Scotsman While Connolly is a tall, white-haired man who finds humour in anything, Larry David is a tall, white-haired man who finds eye-popping enragement in everything. Taylor H A season full of laughs AND a humorous send off for Larry David. Curb Your Enthusiasm will remain one of the greatest comedies to grace our televisions. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/20/24 Full Review Rene D Too much screaming and recycled jokes. The finale make no sense at all. It was painful to watch Rated 1 out of 5 stars 04/13/24 Full Review Sunday Night Streaming o Curb Your Enthusiasm Season 12 – 7.0 – Season 12 marks the end of an era, a wild ride that began back in 2000 with Larry David at the helm. This season serves as his swan song, wrapping up a legacy of relatable and delightfully simple comedy episodes. One of the show's standout features has always been the unexpected yet uproarious comedic chemistry between Larry and JB Smoove. While I wouldn't call this the best season, it still had its fair share of hits. Each episode follows the familiar Curb humor formula, though not every joke lands for me. The success of an episode often hinges on how cringeworthy the misses are. The pace is quick, peppered with celebrity cameos that add to the fun. I've even got a spinoff pitch for Larry and HBO: imagine Larry meeting a humorous demise, leaving Leon to inherit all his wealth. HBO, feel free to use that idea, I'd love to be a part of it somehow! The season ties back beautifully to Seinfeld, bringing things full circle. Despite the criticisms of Seinfeld's finale, I think Curb's finale does justice to the series, weaving in past events and poking fun at its predecessor's ending. And what a treat to see Jerry Seinfeld himself standing by Larry's side at the end. Curb has been a joy to watch over the years, with its celebrity cameos always a highlight. This season was no exception, boasting a final episode packed with familiar faces from seasons past. Long live Larry, Curb Your Enthusiasm will forever be a comedic staple, and Season 12 was a fitting end to an incredible story. Official sundaynightstreaming rating of 7.0 Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/09/24 Full Review Dayne R This is by far the best comedy series ever made and I'm so sad it's ended but, wow what a ride it has been. Every episode this season is pure gold and funnier than the last. It was so heartwarming Richard Lewis was able to film a few episodes including the series finale. I loved the spite finale lol it had a good twist to it and despite how bad the finale of Seinfeld was this was a genius way to end it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/09/24 Full Review Othmane B Love the Show , So Simple and Funny Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/09/24 Full Review adrian t It's fitting that the finale was a redo of the Seinfeld finale because the last few seasons of Curb followed Seinfeld's arc in that it became more and more hysterical (not in a good way) and absurd and the characters all became caricatures of what made them great. The finale is a mess of screaming characters and goofy noises and like a lot of the latter series lacks a lot of the intelligence and perceptive writing of the first 8 seasons. It's a shame. While it was always nice to see Larry and the other characters Curb definitely overstayed it's welcome. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 04/08/24 Full Review Read all reviews
