In a summer without any live-action adaptations, Warner Bros. has another way of getting a DC Comics property to the big screen. DC League of Super-Pets is an animated family comedy that features the Justice League as supporting characters to the titular group of super-powered animals. Given that it follows in the footsteps of movies like the Shrek series, it's no surprise that DC League of Super-Pets features some major stars in its lead roles.

DC League of Super-Pets will play host to a prolific live-action comedy duo, who have been at the center of the movie's promotion. Beyond those stars, DC League of Super-Pets has an impressively deep bench of recognizable names lending their voices to DC characters, both two and four-legged. Here's a rundown of who voices the main cast and the work audiences might remember them for.

Dwayne Johnson as Krypto

Before he makes his long-anticipated debut as anti-hero Black Adam, Dwayne Johnson will play a wildly different DC powerhouse. Johnson voices Krypto, Superman's loyal canine companion. Originally establishing himself as a massively popular WWE Superstar, Johnson has become one of Hollywood's most bankable stars, proving himself to be adept in action franchises like Fast and Furious as well as comedies.

Kevin Hart as Ace

Comedian Kevin Hart reunites with Johnson, his Jumanji and Central Intelligence co-star, in DC League of Super-Pets. Hart will play Ace, a shelter pet who gains the power of invulnerability from Orange Kryptonite. After toiling for years in relative obscurity as a stand-up comedian and actor, Hart broke through in both fields. Hart brings some relevant experience to DC League of Super-Pets; he starred in both Secret Life of Pets animated movies as the superhero-obsessed rabbit Snowball.

Shortly after Marvel fans manifested his cameo appearance as one of the Marvel Universe's founding fathers, John Krasinski will provide the voice for the DC Universe's foundational character. Krasinski voices Superman, whose relationship with Krypto serves as the catalyst for DC League of Super-Pets' plot. Krasinski is best known for his breakout role as Jim Halpert on The Office. On the big screen, he's worked in front of and behind the camera in A Quiet Place and its sequel.

Keanu Reeves as Batman

According to DC League of Super-Pets director Jared Stern, Keanu Reeves will help bring a unique perspective to Batman's latest cinematic appearance. Reeves' work in the John Wick movies made him the ideal candidate to play a "haunted" Batman who could use some animal companionship. In addition to Wick, Reeves has played iconic characters like The Matrix's Neo throughout his nearly 40-year career. He also has experience with DC Comics adaptations, albeit of a much different vintage than the family-friendly DC League of Super-Pets. Reeves appeared in 2005's Constantine as an American variant of the character.

Marc Maron as Lex Luthor

While Lex Luthor's inclusion would usually make him a story's primary antagonist, he also takes a back seat to a super-powered animal in DC League of Super-Pets. Luthor is played by Marc Maron, whom superhero movies fans might consider something of a villain due to his unflattering comments about superhero franchises. Like Reeves, Maron has also appeared in an R-Rated DC property: in his case, 2019's Joker. Outside of comic book adaptations, Maron is best known for his successful podcast WTF with Marc Maron. His memorable acting roles have included his turn on the late, lamented Netflix series GLOW.

Kate McKinnon as Lulu

The main villain of DC League of Super-Pets is Lulu, an evil guinea pig who kidnaps Superman and weakens Krypto with Kryptonite. Lulu is played by Kate McKinnon, a longtime Saturday Night Live cast member who recently left the show after a ten-year run. During her time off from the sketch comedy institution, McKinnon made a name for herself in live action and as a voice actor. Her portrayal of Jillian Holtzman was considered one of the bright spots in the controversial 2016 Ghostbusters remake. Her voice acting highlights include appearances on The Simpsons and Family Guy and in Pixar's Finding Dory.

Olivia Wilde as Lois Lane

Lois Lane's presence in a Superman story traditionally causes tension between the Man of Steel's two identities. In DC League of Super-Pets, she comes between Superman and Krypto, who's jealous of all the time his best friend spends with her. Lois is played by Olivia Wilde, who has made a name for herself as a director in recent years, which includes landing a gig directing a rumored Spider-Woman. She's had a memorable acting career, with roles including Quorra in Tron: Legacy and a recent, uncredited turn as Gozer in Ghostbusters: Afterlife.

Jameela Jamil as Wonder Woman

The entire DC Trinity will be represented in DC League of Super-Pets. Wonder Woman will be voiced by Jameela Jamil. After stints as a TV host, journalist and model, Jamil made her acting debut in 2016. Her portrayal of chronic name-dropper Tahani Al-Jamil in The Good Place saw her hold her own playing off of co-stars Kristen Bell and Ted Danson. Jamil will play a different kind of Amazon with her next live-action role, She-Hulk: Attorney At Law's Titania.
