Glen Rose High School's culture is awesome! In a world filled with so much negative influence, GRHS is a breath of fresh air. The positive vibe is contagious and the opportunities they give their students should be commended. They truly care about each one of their students. The teachers make learning fun while continuing to hold high standards and expectations for their students. When my child graduated from Glen Rose, he credited his High School teachers for preparing him for the rigorous academic work he encountered in college. As a parent, I credit them for helping build him up and guide him to the successful young man he is today. I am forever grateful to GRHS for everything they did for my child!
The academic aspect of the school system is efficient, but in regard to the creative aspects, the school is severely lacking. This disappoints me because I wish to pursue a career in the art/creative field. I would like to see the school board take the initiative of improving the art aspects of the school instead of throwing all their funds into the athletic groups.
Glen Rose actively worked towards upgrading and building a better school every single year. While they are a rural school, they offered many opportunities for their students.
