The house is a step back into Dutch farming history and is furnished in the traditional Dutch style of Bergen County.
There are many interesting displays dealing with the family, the armed forces, and displays of furnishings and life at that time in Bergen County. Upstairs there is a very interesting toy display and schoolhouse display that kids will get a kick out of visiting.
The barn has many objects from a time when this was a major farm and all the equipment used to grow crops. It shows an very different era when life was tough on the farmers.
There area few special events throughout the year but the home is not open as much as it should be during the year. Erin and Carmela were our masseuses, We had 80 min stress relief massages that did not disappoint.
