Travel advice

Party of 5, 2 adults and 3 children 6-14yo.

Arriving into Haneda. It looks like taking the airport limo is best option or would getting a taxi better for the 5 of us to get to hyatt regency tokyo? Might need van taxi? Does airport limo bus even stop at the regency?

Going to Sanyo-so, should i reserve seats for the train for the roundtrip a day or two before? It’s abt 2-3 hr train ride?

I want to check out costco. What is the most convenient but cost effective way to get there for 5? Taxi or bus? I’ll be using google map but think it might be too confusing if there are multiple bus transfers.

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

OK. It's a Prince Hotel chain. Your final destination is Izu-Nagaoka station.

Even if you take the Shinkansen, there are non-reserved seats, so it's not necessary to get reserved seats -- unless you're going during peak travel season.

Look here for transportation options. https://world.jorudan.co.jp/mln/en/?sub_lang=nosub

Uber is connected to taxi companies in Japan. Once we got an Alphard from Tokyo MK when we got it at Tsukiji Market.

Sorry I thought it was Odorikogo but it is actually Izu Nagaoka.

About the limo bus you won't need to book until you get to the ticket counter at the airport.

In case there is not one getting to your hotel, get one to BUSTA Shinjuku and get on taxis around the corner you get off the bus. It will be just five minutes or so, so get on the sedans there.

If i get the 72 hour tokyo subway pass, would it cover most of my expenses en route to sanyo so? It looks like at least some of the trains are included in the pass.
