Der Film hat mich sehr überrascht, hatte eigentlich gedacht er würde etwas langatmig sein.vJedoch hat er mich richtig begeistert, kann ihn nur wärmstens empfehlen. Leider gibt es nicht so oft solche gute filme. Kann nur hoffen das noch weitere folgen.

This movie would have been better served keeping the original title, The Last Girl because with a name like Cult Killer people are expecting action, mystery, and a cult. While it is a movie about investigators trying to solve a series of murders and put a "family cult" behind bars, this movie is mostly about the relationship between the killer (Jamie played to great effect by Shelley Henning) and pursuer (Cassie also played to great effect by Alice Eve). It tells the tale of two people who had similar abusive backgrounds and how one escaped her demons, the other did not. Not many movies hold my attention nowadays, but this psychological semi-thriller managed to do what other movies haven't—keep me from fast-forwarding through boring parts as I didn't really feel any.
