Private, self contained lockable section of our house situated on a quiet suburban street. Rural surroundings with off street parking.

Two bedrooms, bathroom with shower over bath (not suitable for the elderly immobile) and toilet. Separate (small) kitchenette/ sitting with kitchen supplies (plates, cutlery, glasses etc) toaster, microwave, bench -top oven, rice cooker, fry pan and waffle maker. Suitable for cooking basic meals. There is a small table, 2 chairs, smart TV, Wi Fi , 2 seater couch, fridge, dishwasher and pantry containing Tea, plunger and coffee and milo. Also homemade muesli and cornflakes. Small carton of milk and fresh baked homemade bread also usually provided if host is at home.
Kitchen/Lounge sitting area is small and more size suitable for 2 people than 4 adults. Has a 2 seater lounge seat and 2 chairs. Washing Machine on back deck.
House frontage on park. Picnic table and BBQ for your private use. Fenced back garden. Access to Park through gate in fence.
Walking distance (short cut) across Park (400m) to children’s playground, Restaurants, Fish and Chip shop, Library, Hair salon, Chemist, Doctors and Dentist.
Can swim at small beach and yacht club at end of street. There are surf beaches very close - within 2 km. Children’s playground, paddling pool, cafes, fine dining and take-aways also available in picturesque seaside suburb of Sumner. Nearest supermarket is in Sumner. There is also a supermarket in Ferrymead.
Walking tracks on Port Hills outside the front door. Short walk to Free Climbing Cave. Ideal situation for outdoor pursuits including mountain biking.
15 minutes in car to City Centre. Purple Bus goes straight to Ferrymead, City, Riccarton Mall and airport. Bus stop at end of Bay View Rd.

Guest access
Park up the drive and back into space beside the old shed ( so we can still get the truck out across the front of house). Can use grass, garden, and picnic table BBQ area.

Other things to note
Two Miniature Schnauzers live in fenced back yard. They will bark at you but just want to be your friend. Please leave gates shut at all times.
