Jimmy Uso and Naomi, also known as Trinity Fatu, first crossed paths in the world of WWE. Their journey started at the wrestling school, where Jimmy, intrigued by Naomi's potential connection to his wrestling lineage, approached her. In an MTV interview, Jimmy disclosed how he approached Naomi, saying:

"We met at the school where we trained. At the first time she walked in, so my dad wrestled, so I heard she was a fan of my dad (...) I walked up to her I was like 'Yo, you ever heard of Rikishi?' She was like 'Yeah! (...) 'Man, I can't stand that dude, he is like one of the worst wrestlers. That dude sucks.' And she kinda just looked at me and she just walked off. At the practice, I walked up to her and 'Yo man, I was just trying to do small talk. You know, that's my dad. I heard you were a fan of his, so I'm here, I just wanna introduce myself.' She is like 'Well, you should've just said that instead of saying all that stupid s***.'”

After dating for approximately five years, the couple exchanged vows in January 2014. Their union not only brought them together but also made Naomi a cherished stepmother to Jimmy's two children.

Jimmy Uso And Naomi’s Relationship Was Shown On 'Total Divas'

Jimmy Uso And Naomi Were Once Tag Team Partners

The journey of Jimmy Uso and Naomi was not confined to the wrestling ring; it extended to the small screen through WWE's reality show, Total Divas. The couple willingly opened the doors to their personal lives, allowing fans to witness the intricacies of their relationship. Naomi, speaking to TVInsider, affirmed that what the audience saw on TV was a genuine reflection of their lives. She said:

“Where we were in our lives 10 years ago is a lot different than where we are now. We were a lot younger, way more immature. Life is different. Our careers have picked up. We got married. We’re homeowners now. I’m full-on, hands-on with my stepkids now, which I love. We’re truly adulting. Everything that comes with our lifestyle now is not going to be perfect and easy all the time. We’re trying to understand each other’s wants and needs at this point in our life because we have both changed as people. That’s what I’m learning and what we are trying to figure out in our marriage right now. You’re getting to see that unfold on Total Divas. It’s real, what is going on and where we are. Hopefully, it can help out other couples and others who are watching can relate because they are going through similar situations.”

Beyond the reality show, the couple's chemistry spilled over into the wrestling ring. They joined forces as a tag team several times, especially on WWE's Mixed Match Challenge.

In a surprising turn of events in May 2022, Naomi, alongside Sasha Banks, walked away from WWE, expressing dissatisfaction with their booking. While Jimmy remained a crucial part of The Bloodline saga with Roman Reigns, Naomi pursued various endeavors outside WWE. Her journey led her to TNA, where she not only ventured into modeling but also reclaimed her place in the wrestling world, winning the TNA Knockouts Championship in July 2023. In January 2024, she lost the title and returned to WWE at the Royal Rumble. She explained to Metro.co.uk how being in different promotions affected her marriage. She said:

“‘It’s definitely been an adjustment, that’s for sure! But we support each other more now than ever! So, we make it work. He comes to my shows, I go to his shows, it’s really cool. It’s also made us miss each other even more! It has its pros and cons as well. No we’re not with each other every day, but it makes the time we are together now extremely special and extremely important. We’re both enjoying that. We’ve been together 14 years now, and we’ve always been on the road together, always been in developmental, literally inseparable. It’s a new dynamic of our marriage, but it’s exciting, it’s refreshing."

Naomi left WWE in 2022 and had a strong run in TNA, but the company hasn't done anything with her since returning at the Royal Rumble.

As the couple recently celebrated their 10-year wedding anniversary, the question arises whether Naomi's return to WWE could intertwine with Jimmy's ongoing Bloodline saga. Currently, Jimmy Uso is on the outs with the Bloodline, as his brother, Solo Sikoa, kicked him out of the new version of the group. Naomi has been seen at the side of and in matches with Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill, and Bayley on SmackDown. The prospect of working together again in the same promotion may bring new dynamics to Jimmy Uso and Naomi's relationship, adding another chapter to their remarkable love story.
