“Beauty in the broken" talks about the meeting between a depressed psychologist, David, and an emotionally disturbed homeless woman, Pele. He decide to rescue her, they fall in love, and each gets a second chance at a new life.
Here comes the difficult part: did I like it? Well, I really would say yes, but, actually, I didn’t. I loved the message the film wants to spread: we have to see the beauty in our and others’ brokenness. It’s a hymn of hope for all that people who are broken inside and out.
However, the film has some serious technical problems. First of all, the direction and the editing, which seem at an amateur level. The errors in the cuts…
