I was just talking to my daughter about you and how you could see the Beauty and Kindness shine even through a movie screen or Television set. How lucky were those who got to spend time with you at work or in life.I was a fan you gave me JOY ( : and once again Thank you sharing your gift with millions those who knew you and were part of your life specially your family a Soul that shined and although you left us so soon I really believe there is a very cool and special place reserved for people like you. You will for ever be in our hearts and your work will be a very special thing most of us cannot leave behind for many other generations to enjoy.

God is a God of all Comfort and he will comfort the Family's...My condolences to the Family's...

Even though it has been some time since he left us I still watch each and every one of his films when I get the chance. But I have to say my favorite was "Odd Thomas". I guess because I loved the books so very, very much. He was perfect in the role. He quiet demeanor and soft, sweet voice was Odd. I will miss him always.

I never knew Anton that well. I saw him in Star Trek and recently in 5 to 7 in wich he was wonderful. It's almost 2 months sinc he passed. I have seen a few more of his films and interviews. What a sweet little boy, What a beautiful young man. I hope all the good memories can give a little bit of strength to all who were close to him.

I watched Anton grow up on film. I can't claim this about any other actor, but I've seen practically every movie Anton was ever in. And each time he was off-screen, I'd have the same reaction: Go back to that character; I'm most interested in learning more about his story. Anton brought such energy and humanity to everything he was part of -- cinema projects, interviews, life. It was like watching a brilliant firework ascending. And I confess that I feel a palpable emptiness without him. My heart goes out to his family and friends, who shared him with the world and loved him dearly. My spirit reminds me to never forget him, by observing his example every day. He will forever be the purest and brightest of stars.

Anton was a beautiful soul. His passion, energy and enthusiasm for his work never ceased to amaze me. I was first drawn to him by his role in Star Trek and then followed his career from then on. He was incredibly talented at such a young age. He was going to do so much more.

I feel so tentative about adding my own sentiments here, because I didn't know Anton personally -- and can't conceive of any words that might even begin to comfort his family and friends. I will always remember his insights, his curiosity, his wonder, his voice, his smile, his humility and gratitude. His approach to living taught me so much. The music and message he carried will never stop echoing.

If I saw that Anton's name was in the movie credits while I was scrolling through channels some late night after work, I stayed up into the wee hours and watched that movie. If I heard about a film he was in, I made a point of renting it. The only other actor who's ever had that effect on me was Philip Seymour Hoffman. So it's probably the highest compliment I give any performer, as a mere fan who doesn't pay much attention to modern Hollywood. Anton had such a pure and winning quality about him, and he clearly put his heart into everything he did. Actors like that don't come along very often -- in fact, people like that don't come along very often. I will miss him dearly, and never forget him.

My heart breaks for Antons parents. We have lost a gem. Courageous, Antons parents devoted their life to Anton. I met Anton and his parents during an early movie he made that my son had a small part in. Anton was so smart, clever and talented. Today is July 6 and I think about Anton and his dear parents everyday. What an incomprehensible loss for our world.

I am only a fan of his work and didn't know him personally but I love to see any of his work and enjoyed it very much. I am very sad for this loss of a great talented person.
Anton RIP you will be a loss to many and I feel with your spirit somehow you will continue to make a difference.

There's a scene in Rudderless, where Anton's character Quentin brings a box of donuts aboard a boat and gets crudely insulted by the boat's owner. It's meant to be a funny scene, but Anton makes the most heartbreaking expression. He communicates about a dozen layers of character insight with that single crestfallen look. For me, that embodied Anton -- he brought such a relatable, resonant, human everyman quality to each role. You wanted to hug him, high-five him, then go grab a beer with him. And I realize he was only playing fictional characters -- but it seems something that consistent would be coming from deep inside a person. Sure, there are celebrities and then there are stars. The latter sparkles and brightens and illuminates; and has nothing whatsoever to do with fame. For many of us, Anton's star will never truly stop shining. Comfort, blessings, gratitude, love.

When a complete stranger can move so many people as profoundly as Anton has, you know it speaks more of the spirit than the flesh. All could see that incredible spirit that he put into his performances and his love of life. The world is a little darker without his presence. We will all miss the light he brought. To his family, may your memories of your son sustain you during your grief. Know that many grieve with you.

I'm someone who pays almost no attention to Hollywood. I couldn't tell you one blockbuster or award-winner or A-lister from the next. But I found myself paying attention to Anton. For me, seeing his name among the cast credits made it a must-see movie. He seemed to let his heart guide his choices, and he put his whole heart into everything he did. Such an extraordinary combination of childlike enthusiasm, humility, wonder, uncanny wisdom. Perhaps he would have simply called himself an actor. I suspect he was put here as a mentor and a teacher of the highest order. I know that I will carry his example with me all the days of my life. Rest well, Anton. I pray we cross paths again one day. I'm a musician. I never knew Anton personally, but so many of his characters connected with me -- and I was always so inspired by the way he lived his life; the sort of person he was. Music is like that. Certain songs just stay with you. They resonate, and you can't put your finger on why. But I think the same is true for people. Anton was more than a gifted performer and a kind, decent human being. He was beautiful -- and I'm so grateful I got the chance to live in the time of his song. I first saw you act as a child and thought, "wow, what a great voice." As that voice matured and deepened, it got greater and greater ... and the same could be said for your astonishing talent. It fills me with despair to realize I won't hear you speak again, except in film and interview archives. Yet it fills me with gratitude to say that you were here -- and you graced this world with such insight, sensitivity, humility and kindness. Something like that can never truly be silenced.
