The Strangers are an Australian pop-rap band formed in Melbourne in 2019. They are most notably well-known for their 2023 hit single "Stupid Coi Leray", a diss track aimed at American rapper Coi Leray.

History[]
Inspired by Machine Gun Kelly, The Strangers met at Bulleen Heights School in 2019. Jake, Josh, Angad and Chandra became best friends, so they started a band. Jake came up with the name "The Strangers", because he thought it sounded cool. Tianzhe joined the band in 2022.
