Actress Lyn Peters, who appeared in various 1960s TV series including Hogan’s Heroes, Get Smart, and Batman, died Sept. 10 at her home in Palm Springs. She was 72.

Peters, born in Argentina but raised in London, was a fashion model before becoming an actress. Notably, she starred in a 1967 three-part episode of Batman as Lady Prudence, and the following year, she played KAOS agent Emily Neal on NBC’s hit show Get Smart.

She also appeared on ABC’s Twelve O’Clock High, during which she met her future husband, Paul Burke. Burke, best known for his roles in Twelve O’Clock High and the ABC detective drama Naked City, married Peters in 1979, and they remained married until Burke’s death in 2009.

Peters was also a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu culinary school, and after retiring from acting she founded her own A-list catering business, Custom Catering. She became known as ‘caterer to the stars,’ serving such clients as Bob Hope and Frank Sinatra.

Survivors include her stepchildren Paula, Paul, and Dina. Peters was also the step-grandmother of Arrested Development actress Alia Shawkat.
