- Paula S1 contributionSouthports FinestGlad to back at Splash World... kids love it! Reasonably priced too and staff are very helpful. Free Parking - Changing rooms spotless - staff actively cleaning and cafe food excellent and well priced. We'll be a back! Needs to be made bigger with more slides.Visited May 2023Written 2 June 2023
- kieran cBirkenhead, United Kingdom2 contributionsGreat few hoursAfter reading all the bad review I was unsure on going, but the kids still wanted to try it. So glad I did really enjoyed it and was more than happy with the cleanliness of the place. We went at 10am first people in we got on everything no problem, we left the pool at 11.30 and the queues were beginning to get bigger so recommend going early, Staff were very friendly and helpful and plenty of changing bays(my children 10 & 11 so could go in together) Will definitely returnVisited August 2023Travelled with familyWritten 5 August 2023
- Physical80Manchester, United Kingdom28 contributionsA great morning of family funThis is usually my worst nightmare of a family day! However, The changing rooms were clean and being constantly cleaned. The amount of scruffs who can't put wrist bands and swim nappies in the bin surprised me, expecting staff to clean up! It changed from spotless to a mess in less than 10 min and staff were there to sort it. The lifeguards were on the ball and friendly. I can't fault them at all. One jumped straight in at the bottom of the yellow slide as my daughter tipped in off the ring. I thought this reaction, although she could swim well, was exceptional! A really positive experience. Personally I'd always book an early slot as it did start to get busy.Visited August 2023Travelled with familyWritten 8 August 2023
- VicManchester, United Kingdom23 contributionsAmazing yellow slide! Average place otherwiseThe yellow ring slide here is so much fun! We could’ve spent our whole 2 hours on that! The blue flumes are quite boring. It was good fun for /hrs but we were done at that point. I’d echo what many people have said, the place looks unclean, and also not sure why there are so many lockers and a tiny amount of changing ! Really badly thought out!Visited August 2023Travelled with familyWritten 17 August 2023
- Hannah C4 contributionsWe had fun overallOverall we did have a nice time. However, when you arrive you have to queue up in a long queue at the second reception. My son is autistic and he was becoming inpatient yet no member of staff wanted to help. The queue moved slowly as it seemed the staff didn’t really know what they were doing. It states on the website 20% off carers tickets and 20% off disability tickets, however, it’s not 40% off altogether it’s only 20% off altogether and this needs to be made clear on the website. Instead of queuing up waiting for a refund for these tickets why not just make the cheaper price and tickets available on the website and show evidence on arrival? Full refund for lockers should be applied not just half the price. Overall it was clean so no complaints there. If you can’t get in one of the two family changing cubicles then you’ll have to go into the tiny, tiny ones. The cafe is in the same bit as the splash park which isn’t really ideal or hygienic if you ask me. It’s not closed off so once dried and dressed it’s not ideal to take little children in there to eat as I know my son would try to constantly run off back into the pool. So we didn’t bother staying for lunch in the cafe which was a shame, we travelled elsewhere. I would go again as I know how it operates, I would just arrived extra early. The SEN sessions should be done in term time during the day not the evenings as it’s an hour there and back travelling so not ideal for most families coming from a distance.Visited August 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 24 August 2023

I went with my husband, 8 year old and 20mnths old. We all had a great fun. Nice, clean. Not busy. Todler area very nice 👌 shallow water so kids can get use to the water. In tge deeper water area- great and fun slides, fun lazy river. Paid parking but they return the money. We didn't use cafeVisited August 2023Travelled with familyWritten 27 August 2023
- Stephanie11 contributionsPricey but fun!We came here as a family of 4 with two children under 8. We all had a great time. Yes it’s too expensive (£48!) for 2 hours and a little grotty in places but our children loved it and gave it 10/10. It states that you get 1.5 hours but our colour didn’t get called until 2 hours after we got in so we took advantage of the extra time.Visited August 2023Travelled with familyWritten 27 August 2023
- Parker AdvisorFormby, United Kingdom32 contributionsClean and tidy, bigger cubicles please!Family changing room are great, cubicles are way too small, myself and my 3 year old struggled to manoeuvre when the door was closed. Generally the place is clean and tidy, the toddler area looks amazing! However it’s way too much, the water tank that fills and drops like a waterfall will literally knock a grown adult out never mind a 3 year old. Slides are great, but children must be over 6years of age.Visited September 2023Travelled with familyWritten 4 October 2023

He loved the 2 bigger slides and had fun but 2 hours was enough for him. The thing that shocked me was as a spectator i had to pay £8. I expected some type of fee but £8 a little steep to sit in the cafe.Visited May 2024Travelled with familyWritten 5 May 2024

We went yesterday and booked an all day ticket (£55 for 3 of us) which was a blessing in disguise as it was raining so couldn’t do much else
We had the best day spent around 6hrs in there, not sure how many they allow in at a time but it wasn’t mega busy so went on all the slides loads - word of warning you can be tipped out of the rubber rings on the yellow slide as there is pools in between each part of the slide so could be scary for not strong swimmers but we loved it and made a game out of it
The pool was a little chilly but you soon get used to it, ate in the poolside cafe and the food was decent, showers where lovely and warm when you get out
The only downside which is minor is that the venue and changing is supposed to be aimed at families but there are only two family changing cubicles so if your going as a family pack separate bags to make getting changed easier
Will definitely be returning 😃 — at Splash World Southport.

Very disappointing visit
Myself and 7 year old daughter left the pool after less than 5 minutes as it was absolutely freezing. Along with the water being cold the air blowing in to the pool area was also freezing.
We requested a refund and we’re advised refunds are not given due to their policy.
It’s a shame as it looked a fun place.
Manager offered free entry for a later visit but we won’t be returning.
I would not recommend for children.

Very disappointing - Visited with our baby and toddler and found the facilities unclean and unsafe. The younger children’s splash zone was chaotic with way too much water being sprayed all over the place. The pool itself was way too cold especially if you’re considering taking a baby, we lasted all of 5 minutes before having to come out. There are only 2 family changing cubicles which is nowhere near enough for the number of families needing them resulting in people waiting or having to make do with the smaller cubicles. I ended up changing our baby on the bench of one of a tiny cubicle, not ideal.
Visit topped off by my toddler burning his hands in the toilets, no hot water sign so be aware - you could brew up with the temperature of that water!
Safe to say we won’t be returning!!

Steer clear yellow slide. My 6 year old nearly drowned.
The slide throws you out of the donut at 3 points and you have to climb back in which is a challenge mid slide. Unfortunately we didn't know this before going on.
My sons donut went down the slide without him after he was thrown off. Luckily my husband was behind and had to put him on his knee coming down they got thrown backwards coming out and both went under. The lifeguard had to yank my son out and he was very shaken.
All we saw after that was people stood up on the slide trying to get back in their donuts. Not worth it and dangerous. They should warn and not say for kids to go on their own ring.
A shame really as other facilities were ok and lazy tired good.
Overpriced for what it is
