Bruno Mars is scheduled to perform as part of the grand opening of a brand new venue in Placer County next year. The grammy-award-winning singer will perform Saturday, Feb. 18, 2023 at Thunder Valley Casinos's new entertainment center called The Venue, which the casino announced during the last concert at its amphitheater on Saturday night. The Eagles will perform a night earlier on Feb. 17 and Santana will perform on Feb. 19. “The Venue at Thunder Valley allows us to expand our entertainment footprint in a big way as we continue to position ourselves as the industry leader in Northern California," said Dawn Clayton, general manager of Thunder Valley. The Venue will be able to seat 4,500 people for performances and sporting events all year long, the casino said. It will also be used as an event and conference space. Before the $100 million indoor venue was built, the casino could only host events during seasonable weather. “With the opening of The Venue, we will now be able to host events inside year-round, and we look forward to continuing to present big-name performers," said Gene Whitehouse, Chairman of the United Auburn Indian Community.
