Il serait bien que les ouvrages soient emballés et pas juste placés dans un carton d’expédition car les coups pris pendant le trajet sont bien visibles…

In 1977, my father took me to Star Wars. Back then, it was simply STAR WARS, there were no episodes, and at the time I do not think a sequel was even planned. Yes, I am an OG Star Wars fan. I can say with the utmost certainty that I have seen the movie over 100 times. Since then, Star Wars has taken the world by storm, giving nine films in the series, plus several spinoff movies, as well as shows on Disney+.

A few months ago, I saw the book Tribute to Star Wars come across my social media feed. I put it on my wish list on Amazon and last week I noticed it was half off, so for $12.49 I got it. I really did not pay attention to the write-up or reviews. It was Star Wars art, and that was enough for me. So if you are like me and do not read the write-up and just jump right in, please listen to your ol’ buddy Ninetoes, it is all Japanese Manga art. Now, I have nothing against manga art, there are times I quite enjoy it.

The art in this book is really good. There are three pieces that stick out in my mind that are absolutely superb; two involve Darth Vader, and the other involves a snowspeeder and an AT-AT. The rest of the art, as said before, was really good. I think the problem I have with it is in a lot of the pictures, the main characters look like kids. That being said, it is worth the purchase for $12.49.

I give this book 4 out of 5 bookmarks.
