Loved South. Solid school academically, could have better college prep resources. Doesn’t have the toxic I better than you attitude as the other Williamsville schools. The best part of South is the great people. Everyone from the kids, to the teachers, to the administrators are amazing. Go Billies!
After losing a friend to a car accident during my senior year of high school, the school did help us rally, however we didn't end up being able to memorialize them as much as we wanted to. We formed a group of students that tried to come up with something to be able to do, but all we did was wear ribbons and speak about them at graduation. I am grateful that we were able to do that, but I wished we were able to do more. I was very involved in music, and I was given great opportunities to be able to perform for musicals, concerts, and I was able to do a workshop where I performed in front of all 3 Williamsville school choirs and a performer from Hamilton at Shea's.
Since moving here halfway through my sophomore year, I've loved every second of my time here at South! There's a myriad of courses for me to take, including Honors and AP-level classes. There are also plenty of opportunities for students to be involved, and the teachers are very understanding and are willing to help you succeed.
