Recorded at The Barge 1984-1985 except track 5 recorded in 1982 at Mix O'Lydian
(Notes copied from CD release - not present on LP inner)
Cinéma Vérité is the first album by an alternative rock group Dramarama, released in November 1985. Although Dramarama was an American group, specifically from New Jersey, the album was originally released by New Rose Records of France. It was later picked up for release by Chameleon Records in California, a small independent record label. The song "Anything, Anything (I'll Give You)" was covered by Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington's former band Grey Daze on their album ...no sun today.

Reviews
- Brilliant mix of UK and US sounds in a culturally confused decade. This record was a big influence on some of us who can´t remember the eighties, 'cause we were there. Very melodic with clear reference to dadaism and pop art (read VU), they sometimes remind me of Psychedelic Furs. The lyrics feel like social-glam a little bit in the vain of Mott the Hooples Ian Hunter. If you see the album, buy it, they don´t make 'em like this no more.
