Our wedding was 6-14-15.

I must say I had a WONDERFUL time at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. There were a few problems with my room, but once my wife told our concierge Juan about the issues they were fixed within minutes. Luciana (spelling) was our wedding coordinator and she did a good job. Geraldo Degrott was the director of ops at Hard Rock. Great guy, he and his right hand man Sasha took care of my guests. I really appreciate their help.

I really liked the breakfast food at "The Market" the french toast and fried plantains were superb.

I must say I did a LOT of walking. The resort is huge, so definitely have some walking shoes. You can also rent a golf cart. If you do not care about an ocean view, I'd say stay in building 2B, you'll be close to all of the restaurants and lobbies. Club Oro was not as great as it could be, mainly because of the dj. My experience at the Casino was cool. The resort has a lot of pools, the Eden Pool was the only one I saw that was for Adults only.

I loved my experience at the HR. Great staff, nice beach, and facilities.

Celebrating my 10 Year Wedding Anniversary at the Hard Rock hotel was Awesome. Excellent Service, initial room mix up however issue resolved and room was upgraded with no issues. All Staff Members were very friendly and accommodating the entire stay. I have never been to a place that was more accommodating.. I can't say that enough. Building 4A best building Concierge, Best Location, close to Main building, and all restaurants, beach and Central Pool. Spa Service- Outstanding, Lareaux and Segunda are Awesome Staff in the Spa- we enjoyed the couples massage, be sure to arrive 1hr before for best experience. -Be Prepared to get Nude, bring swim suit and change of clothes-Have to experience -Use resort credit

Approx. 7-8 min walk to get everywhere, bring comfortable shoes, look for elevators in buildings next to main lobby for access if you don't do stairs. YOU HAVE TO STAY HERE !!! IT'S FABULOUS!

We took this trip to celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary..the anniversary was actually in February but we were only able to make this trip in July! Boy oh boy was it well worth the wait! Was treated to a fresh red rose on check-in and escorted to our room in Building 3 (I think). The accommodations was on point as was advertised on the website..The room was big, the beg even bigger, the bathroom was..lol biggest :) And the most incredible thing was the huge jaccuzzi tum set between the bed and the porch! Well. Made excellent use of that tub..really didn't need to leave the room..there was a buzzer you could use to get housekeeping to tidy up..or u could have ordered food in..the place is just grand! Endless restaurants! Food and snacks were delish! We took in a Michael Jackson tribute performance in the theatre..went exploring the grounds and the beach using the trolley..that was so much fun..lost about only US$20 in the casino..was that was a awesome experience too..also checked out the live band in the lounge near the spa entrance..the Japanese restaurant had little shows being performed by the chefs while they prepared dinner..it was really cool seeing how your food was made :)..Played pool/billiards in the pub and had icecream in the icecream parlor, pizza in the pizza place, sushi and all sorts of yummy stuff in the main restaurant! Sigh! I think we both gained about 10lbs at the end of the trip! Staff was ever accommodating, friendly and extremely helpful..We didn't bathe in the beach as it was kinda rough..but we certainly enjoyed roaming about the grounds..which were huge and very very well kept. Wish we could return and do this getaway again!

My husband and I just got married on June 6th and chose The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Punta Cana for our honeymoon 6/9-6/14. We booked through a travel agent who was able to book us in the Rock Royalty section of the Hotel! Our room was Beautiful!! We had a hot tub in the room, a stocked cocktail bar and a luxurious bathroom! Upon arriving, we were swept away directly to our room as we had VIP check-in! We were taken to our room which had a "Just Married" banner gracing the hotel door and our room was decorated with rose petals! We had a butler, Oscar, that was assigned to us for the duration of our stay and he was INCREDIBLE!!! He made our stay far and above better than we could have ever imagined! He made our dinner reservations, booked our spa appointments, reserved a beach hut, reserved pool chairs, booked our excursions, helped with transportation, and checking out. His personality is exciting, joyous, contagious, hilarious and clearly he loves his job! He chilled champagne for us, filled our hot tub with bubbles and flower petals and was top notch! Oscar answered his phone anytime we called. He came and found us at the beach and the pool to see how things were going and if we needed anything! I'm not sure if the guy ever gets to leave the hotel because he was there in the morning and still there to decorate our room after we left for dinner after 8pm! He made us feel very special. We loved having that extra amenity and thought it was a great perk. Fabulous job OSCAR!!!!!! The rest of the hotel was just as amazing! The many pools, restaurants, and bars gave so many options! We played mini golf, floated the lazy river, saw a Michael Jackson show, gambled, shopped and the list could go on and on! The staff at every level was extremely accommodating and friendly! We were called by name and treated with much respect all across the board! The Spa is a whole other review!! It was Beyond Luxurious!!! The nicest spa I've ever experienced! From steam room, sauna, ice bath, mud scrub and shower, massage huts over the water, hot tubs, cold tubs, whirlpool, flavored waters..... I could go on and on! Beautiful hotel and an incredible honeymoon! We will be back!

I just finished a wonderfully relaxing week at the Hard Rock Punta Cana. While there were some ups and downs, I certainly loved my stay and will definitely return again.

As a Legendary Hall of Fame member, we were very fortunate to be paired with Oscar as our butler. Oscar was responsive, efficient, and a great personality to deal with. I really appreciated not having to make my dining, excursion, and spa reservations--it really was a huge time saver and less of a headache than dealing with it day by day in the lobby. Even when we couldn't find a Dominican Empanada on the resort, we asked Oscar about it, and he asked the chef to prepare us some and delivered them to us at the pool. Oscar really went above and beyond for us, and he should be recognized and commended for that.

I only had one negative experience that I feel requires mentioning. My family and I did the Dominican Country tour with resort credits, knowing it lasted from 8AM-2PM. It was interesting, informative, and fun--and actually ended about 10:45. The tour of the home and the processing of coffee, chocolate, coconut and cigars was interesting, and it probably should have ended there. The remaining time was spent driving up a bumpy, narrow dirt road so that a few folks on the tour could do zip lining. I'm not sure why this was part of this tour and not a separate excursion. We hit the mountain top about 11:30 and everyone on the tour had to sit around, in the hot, humid palapa waiting for the 4 folks to zip line. There was a tiny shop, and for $10 you could purchase lunch. There was beer available for $5, but they did not sell bottled water. There was a cooler of water set up, if you were daring enough to try it without knowing where it came from. After about an hour and a half sitting outside (1:00PM), we boarded to return to the Hard Rock. What started out as a must-see tour (and could have ended as one) turned out a miserable experience not worth repeating.

Other than that, the service at the Ledgendary Pool was top notch. Always cold drink in my hand or on the way. There were so many restaurants that you could get almost anything. Our favorites ended up being the ones we didn't expect: Los Gallos (Mexican), Zen (Asain), and Pizzetto (Pizza).

I would definitely bring my family back and request Oscar as my butler (if such requests can be filled), just probably not on the Dominican Country tour until they sort out the unnecessary wait at the end.

We are sorry to say that our 5th trip to Hard Rock Punta Cana has come to a close. We love this resort and Punta Cana and have been club members for years now. Just in case you are concerned about bringing your kids, don't be. There is a lot for them to do even if you don't use the kid's club and all the staff is great with kids. Probably the nicest white sand beach we have visited. Lots of room. Great clean pools. We enjoyed the off road moonrocker adventure, the swim with the dolphin experience, the snorkel experience was amazing for my 10 year old who did it for the first time (colorful fish everywhere you look), the shark swim will be memorable for our whole family (even the 7 year old), and we love to interact with the sting rays. The rooms are very comfortable, the restaurants have great food. My son experienced scuba for the first time in the pool (twice) and can't say enough about it. Again the staff really makes a facility like this a wonderful place to vacation and I wish I could recognize them all. In addition to the Mexican restaurant being one of our favorites, Ramon was a wonderful waiter this time and for us in the past. He is always very attentive to detail and friendly. Sometimes a buffet is nice when you're in a hurry and Raquel at The Market always took great care of us. We always love the teppanyaki restaurant Zen and the experience from all the servers and cooks was again great. We're glad to have once again allowed them to do the fire tricks which is always a crowd pleaser. Unfortunately, Toro and Ciao have been a couple of our favorites in the past but didn't shine as they had before. In the past I've had one of the best stakes of my life at Toro but this time the service left a lot to be expected. Fortunately, Ipanema really stood out with good Brazilian meats this time. Member Reception staff has always been very friendly and accommodating. What a welcome site after a long flight (even in their hippie garb and big hair that they don occasionally). I really appreciate Anna in member services for helping us get a booked excursion opened up for us. Also the spa staff and therapists continue to be amazing. My wife really enjoys therapist Anna Castillo not only from previous trips but on this occasion also. Finally, we want to thank Yinis, our personal concierge, for making a great trip a fantastic one by helping out with the "details". We'll be back!

Love the resort and the casino, This is our 7th trip here as legendary members sense it was re-branded Hard Rock. The resort and staff are great

The only negative review I have had in 7 visits is the Photo Company ROCK SHOTS . My advice is STAY AWAY FROM THEM
They are not at all managed or owned by Hard Rock it's an off site vender as the supervisor on duty explained to us. If like us you have any issues you will find out how customer service non friendly they are.

I have been to the Caribbean about 10 times in the last 5 years. I have never had a resort that cared less about an issue, lied, played ignorant or was just ignorant when asked a question. Their "resort credits" is a scam, you need to pay 20% of what you use in credits mostly leaving the cost the same as though you got the same service locally.

We had flooding in our room due to a backed up drain. Friends who came later and who had a error in their reservation was STILL able to get a king size bed, even though we requested this MONTHS in advance and no one attempted to correct it. Resort used "gray water" that left the areas around the pools with a foul odor and unpleasant. Overall a pretty bad experience, especially after so many good reviews. I will not be heading back to this resort when I can get better pricing and better resorts nearby.

The food was horrible!!! The alcohol was not premium it was bottom of the line and made me sick. The grounds were pretty during the day but at night it was dark and felt like we were in a bayou. We had the King Suite Rock Star and our room looked like everyone else's room. Our butler was not worth it we rarely saw him. The tram system sucks you wait over 20 minutes for one to come around but meanwhile they have tons just sitting in the shade. The pools were very nice. The beach was beautiful but very rough. The cabanas on the beach were all under construction so we couldn't use that.
The bathrooms inside the hotel were disgusting an smelled really bad. The doors on almost all the stalls were broken. The toilets had either urine or feces in them. Cleaning was definitely not their forte.
We were very disappointed in how we were hounded to do the 90 minute membership presentation. We were on our honeymoon and did not want to waste 2 hours of our day listening to a presentation when we knew we were not interested.
The whole resort credit is a scam. Everything is overpriced to make you think you are getting a deal by only paying 20% but that's is not true.

This was our first trip out to stay at the HRPC. Being Members of Legendary and Being Legendary Members and Palace Premier, we were a little disappointed in the customer service with this particular Hard Rock Hotel.

We knew coming in that it was larger than the HRC, and others. We got used to the loooong walk to the main area of the hotel/casino/spa areas.

It was the Room Service and " Member Services" that really FRUSTRATED us to no end!
Apparently, this All Inclusive Hotel doesn't have enough people to properly take care of the number of Guest staying at the hotel.

We asked everyday for a bottle of Bailey's Irish Cream ( being VIP doesn't really matter here, all they have is the DR brand "Greesy" ) but that's ok. The only problem was, we would ask for it around 3 or 4 in the afternoon, but wouldn't receive it until the next day! It seemed as though the right hand didn't know what the left hand was doing. Total breakdown of communication with Member Services over and over etc...

We were there for 7 days. Spa was amazing! Spa treatments were good too. Food was mediocre at best... Golf course was great!
If you decide to stay here, be warned... don't expect to be treated like you're VIP if you are members. Here, you have to become "Rock Royalty" to get anything you would expect to get at any other HRH.

Bartender at VIP Pool on Wednesday 6/2 was very rude when we asked for Sparkeling Wine, he said he didn't have any. Did he say I can get you a bottle in a few minutes? No, just a very RUDE No! (we were there to celebrate our 35th Wedding Anniversary.)
After talking to Gerelynn, he took care of us immediately, as did our waitress Maesha.

We just felt like we were treated very poorly, and probably will not be returning to HRPC.

Again, Member Services needs a total breakdown of how to handle Members appropriately!

"Get to dinner before 7, or else there will be multiple hour waits. Room service will take a minimum of 2 hours, so order early."
