- Interesting situation here!!
My husband and I bought this exclusive RSD release— we played side one and two upon getting home and later that night went to play sides three and four- turns out we are the happy owners of two of the same disc- two of side one and two, we did not get three and four.
There were only 2,000 pressed in total, so now begins the curiosity— is there someone out there with two of the second disc, sides 3 & 4? Or is it a mass duplicate error upon pressing??
Putting out into the ether in case someone is out there in the world with two of the one we are missing and could do a swap- this could be fun!
**on another forum I did find two others who received two of the first LP. Interested to see if anyone received two of the second disc. - This is incredible. I love how they went all out, making the cover look like it’s from the time period of the recording, laminated and all. The pressing quality is phenomenal. I couldn’t have asked for much better!
- The gatefold is top quality. Thick and glossy. The vinyl is heavy and flat. Sound quality is good for some early 50’s live jive. Nat King Cole is a smooth crooner. Lovely evenings
- How’s the sound quality on this? Hype sticker says “restored audio”, so I’m curious what you all think.
