Not a great 1st (& last) experience here. X3 water Charlie rides in x5 hours - x2 weeks ago - out of season on a weekday. Arrival on the universal bud - driver miserable - in both directions. Charging $20+ to use your lockers was annoying to say the least. Life guards and flume staff all miserable. Rubbish floating on lazy river. My wrist band fell off in the fast flowing lazy river. So our pre-scanned time to jump the queue on one of the popular flumes was gone. Went to guest services who were not interested. The food was good and staff were nice in these areas. The water jets on the paths were a great - well thought out addition so you don’t have hot feet. Merchandise offering was standard and nothing exciting sadly. We won’t be rushing back.

Hello Nick,

I deeply regret the issues you encountered with your TapuTapu Wearables and your interaction with our Guest Services Team Members at this park. We expect our Guests to be treated with the utmost courtesy. It's disheartening to see this wasn't entirely the case during your visit. I'll make sure to share your feedback with the proper teams, and invite you to reach out to Guest Service to discuss your experiences a bit further. They're available at 1-877-589-4873, with limited tolls for our international Guests, or at GuestServices@UniversalOrlando.com, referencing this review and providing your username. Thank you for taking the time to share your experiences with us. I hope you'll give us another chance to welcome you back for a better visit in the future.

By far the best water park in Orlando!

Our third visit after visiting twice in May/June 2022 and I can’t fault it.

The Longboard Pizzas are fantastic and very filling. The refillable drink is available here as in the Universal Theme Parks which is really helpful.

The Tapu Tapu is a great system too, definitely ride the AquaCoaster first thing as the wait time for this tends to go quite high by midday.

The Ko’Ikiri Drop Slide is a must do for thrill seekers! Honey and Oh No / Oh Yah are also must do slides. The rapids are also great fun.

Free shuttle from the car park to the park entrance too.

Monday is definitely the best day to visit, we arrived just after 10:00AM and got sun beds and a parasol right in front of the Volcano and Wave Pool, very low crowds with most slides being ride now.

Can’t wait to go back!

We got here early to secure a good spot and it was perfect. The weather was great the whole day and we enjoyed spending the day going on all the slides, wave pool, rapids, etc.
definitely buy the refillable cup because it was a game changer.
This was our first visit here as a family but it certainly won’t be the last.

Ok, it wasn't really that bad but the area was overcrowded (no sign of limiting numbers on the 3 days we attended), but we managed several rides of which the queuing system did limit waiting times so a nice change.

Whilst the rides were enjoyable, the one thing that let it down was simple things. For example, the lazy river had so many people in it, at times there were more people walking in the water than floating on the inflatable rings. And whilst the area was kept free of rubbish / litter, it felt dirty. The lazy river water was terrible and smelt, and the life jackets were dirty with other people's sweat, sun cream etc ... yuk!!

Overall OK, but as I watched this being built for a few years before being able to return, my expectations were high but the reality was rather disappointing. Much better experience at one of Disney's water parks.

I love the water park it’s so nice but you would think that people wouldn’t go to an amusement park and still decide to steal your stuff, so we put our items in a bag with snacks phones wallet and our tickets on a chair thinking none of our items would get stolen and so went into the river rapids to cool off and as soon as we get back we noticed our items were scrumidged through and everything was everywhere, so we got an attendant and said that our items were missing(wallet, tickets, shoes) and we had to go to guest services, we told them everything that happened and they got security and they didn’t do anything except say it was our faults and they can’t do anything and I asked nicely to see there cameras still can’t do that so we fill out a report and go to try and find our stuff, we find the landyards with our tickets in a bush and my wallet and shoes were turned into a lifeguard but all my money was gone, $1000 gone just like that, but you would think employees would help me more but no and you would also think your belongings would be safe but also no because people can’t be trusted to not be thieves if you’re going to go to an amusement parks don’t do that stupid crap. People are horrible nowadays, just wish the employees would’ve helped more.
