Use an extra pair of gloves with the rune Shadow Bolt Volley Shadow Bolt Volley for trash mobs between the bosses to speed up your runs. If you’re never using Shadow Bolt Volley Shadow Bolt Volley for fights with multiple targets, you can go 5/5 Cataclysm Cataclysm instead of Improved Shadow Bolt Improved Shadow Bolt. But overall, boss fights are too short and the impact of Cataclysm Cataclysm is too low to make it a DPS increase. Since Life Tap Life Tap now also returns mana to your pet, Improved Shadow Bolt Improved Shadow Bolt with the extra pair of gloves is the recommended way.

DPS Warlock Stat Priority

As a DPS Warlock Warlock you want to prioritize gear with the following stats:

  1. Spell Hit Chance (up to 5% against enemies 2 levels above you like raid bosses in Level Up Raids)
  2. Spell Critical Hit
  3. Spell Damage = Fire Damage (or Shadow Damage depending on your build)
  4. Intellect

After reaching 5% Spell Hit Chance when fighting against bosses in Level Up Raids, additional Spell Hit Chance has no more value.
