- joseph K26 contributionsMy adult son and i had a few hours to kill on a weekend visit to Dayton. Our primary desire was to see an early wright plane. We easily used up about 3 hours and did not see half of the buildings or exhibits. Very well maintained. A great value!Written May 24, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Celeste FDayton, OH4 contributionsIt's a small museum but bigger than I thought it would be! Absolutely wonderful. My kid enjoyed it as well because they had a DeLorean when we went! Thar wasn't the highlight for me but definitely fun to see. - GrumpyandtheOldLadyNew York City, NY608 contributionsThis park combines the history of Wright Brothers and poet Paul Laurence Dunbar. The NPS does a great job showing how their lives are interwoven. The Wright Brothers movie (On Great White Wings) was exceptional. Do not miss the Ranger led tour of the Wright Brothers' 4th bicycle shop. Don't forget to go to Huffman Prairie Flying Field Interpretive Center, the Wright Brothers Monument, the Wright Brothers Aviation Center, and the airfield. Each location is absolutely great. Your Junior Rangers have three books to work on, so start early. If you visit the prairie site down by the tarmac/catapult/shed site, your Junior Ranger gets an extra prize. This can be a full day that is so much fun! I loved it.Written September 24, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Gordon S238 contributionsDayton Art Museum has a beautifully designed building with a garden in the center of a circuit. A lovely bonsai tree is in that garden. Wonderful art surrounds the garden. American art is strongly represented with Hopper, Robert Brackman’s Life masterpiece, Henri, Demuth, a rather plain Cassatt and a wonderful Samuel Richards story-telling painting. Their European section boasts a sweet Bonnard, Pissarro, rare but fabulous Charles Pearce and Gerome. Dayton is a solid art museum though not as large or comprehensive as other Ohio cities.Written May 18, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dede KPittsburgh, PA2,167 contributionsA beautiful park is an understatement! If you are coming down the highway and see the sprays, you want to track them down! We were in from out of state and were just driving along. We followed the roads and hopped out to have a look. Just as we were walking down the path, they stopped. We didn’t know any kind of schedule so we walked around and took in the scenery. Sculptures, flowers…a beautiful place to take photos. Then suddenly, the highest sprays of water you have ever seen! We were so glad we waited. Breathtaking!Written July 18, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- LSB82Clifton25 contributionsWhat a great place to visit! We just wanted a place to go for a walk but this historic working farmstead was more than we expected. Hannah was a wealth of knowledge and told great stories about the Arnold family. It is free but everything is very well done and presented. Perfect for history buffs, young families, or anyone interested in learning about Ohio farming. We spent two hours there but it is easy in and out with small children. We will be back!Written May 23, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
