I decided to withdraw from Carolina University after having a talk with the basketball coach and just thinking about my future and such I felt like it was best for me to transfer somewhere else. Carolina University is a very interesting school. Small campus, not a lot of people on campus so you see the same faces every day which is okay but I did wish it was a little bigger. I also wish that there was better activities to do on and off campus, everybody was really just sitting in their dorms so it made the year kind of boring. But I did enjoy training working on my basketball game so that was nice but besides that not a huge fan of the school.
Overall, the experience has not been too bad. Professors are conducting classes online through Zoom, despite students being expected to be physically present on campus for in-class instruction.
I've had an amazing experience as a student in Carolina University. It has been the perfect size school for an international student to find their way around US culture and college student life.
