One of the elements that makes the Shorebreak menu unique is the option to order appetizer size or full size entrees. Ben, owner and creator of the cocktail menu, has been bartending in downtown Rehoboth since 2019 and has won several cocktail awards, most recently First Place at the War at the Shore. The cocktail program at Shorebreak presents carefully crafted cocktails based on classics with unique twists to challenge the guests with new experiences.

Shorebreak has a 12-seat bar, two dining rooms and a covered outdoor patio. Many seating options for a romantic date night, special celebrations, family gatherings and company dinners.

Love the “new” Shorebreak! Ben and Diane are wonderful hosts. They truly want you to enjoy their place. Lauren is a great bartender and the service is seamless. My favorite appetizer is the mushroom bruschetta. I could make a meal out of it. I love that some of the entrees are offered as small plates. I had the delicious short ribs and risotto, and after the bruschetta it was more than enough. Shorebreak is now a regular stop for us.

Had a wonderful dining experience.... cocktails were excellent and dinner selections delicious. Since I am gf, many options on menu! The french fries with truffle/blue cheese is devine! The gf chili chocolate torte was excellent. Cant wait to return! Owners are very attentive and welcoming!

We made the discovery of this wonderful restaurant last night. It is a beautiful restaurant with many good seating options including the bar! The food, the libations, the service all wonderful. However, the hospitality that Ben and Diane have created is priceless! They are working owners leading by example! A truly wonderful experience! We will put the Shorebreak Lodge on top of our list every time we are in Rehoboth!

We had 2 apps, 2 mains, and shared a dessert. All dishes were delicious! Shrimp and grits had a kick. I ordered the salmon ‘medium’ (per chef’s recommendation) and it was moist and cooked to PERFECTION. Warm flourless chocolate ganache cake with salted caramel drizzle was a perfect finish to our meal. Service was terrific…made us feel the restaurant was on OUR schedule, not theirs. We’ll be back!

Great ambiance in refreshed dining room. Cocktails perfect and prepared as described. Varied menu accommodating different desires and tastes with everything above expectations. Service was impeccable and servers clearly enjoy their work. We will be back !

We had such a good time, that we went back the following week. Another couple joined us, they had the same wonderful experience. Service was excellent, food was amazing. We had the beet salad, the Barada salad, lamb chops, salmon, surf and turf - everything was excellent. Delicious cocktails & wine. Typically, we are not an easy group to please… We will be back next week…

Service was excellent. Both my husband and I had the salmon , which was cooked perfectly. We shared a large beet salad. The salmon was served with rice and fresh green beans. My husband had carrot cake for dessert. Everything was excellent. Service was excellent. Table was very close to the the one next to ours, which resulted in us hearing the couple’s conversation. Waiter was very helpful. We will return.

Great experience from the start. Warm welcome from hostess, server was professional & attentive. Food was excellent. Started with a salad that was fresh and beautifully presented. The grilled octopus was seasoned and cooked perfectly. My husband had the salmon which he described as outstanding. We have booked our next reservation - look forward to trying the signature cocktails.

The new owners are very involved in the restaurant. They both stoped at our table to introduce themselves. The food was great . The menu is varied with many appealing choices. Generous pour on the drinks which I feel is important. Laura, our server was very helpful and knowledgeable of the menu selections. Ben , the owner and bartender took his time to go over and sample his Scotch whiskeys. We look forward to returning. Glad to see that they take reservations

This is our first time under new management. Food was great just like it was. Some nice renovations are underway in the back dinning room. I spoke to the new owner and they were both very friendly and attentive. We will go back.

We were very disappointed with our experience. It was our first time under new ownership. It was one of our favorites but it will be awhile before we go back. The service was slow, the beets were not cooked and we were given another parties ticket.

It was wonderful! Lauren is a fabulous mixologist and the food was great. Our party of 4 all had different drinks and entrees and we loved them all. I like that you can make a reservation as in-season is very hard to get into restaurants and you can reserve at the bar or a table. Ben, the owner, was there and super friendly and interested in all the feedback. I highly recommend it.

Best meal ever! Their menu is outstanding, and they have the Pat Lefreida burger, which is a gem. Guest service was a huge highlight. We love loved it!
