The Morley Glass Leeds Knights have re-signed Scotland native, Innes Gallacher for the 24/25 season!

The 23/24 season was spread across 3 teams for Innes, standing out in the SNL with hometown team Kilmarnock Thunder with 64 points in just 20 games, followed by making his NIHL 1 and NIHL Debuts with the Widnes Wild and of course, the Leeds Knights!

During his time with us, Innes iced in 26 Games, grabbing 4 goals and 3 assists, with 2 of those goals being game-winners, with Innes also contributing in many ways that the stats don’t show, with heaps of effort both on and off the puck and using his size and strength to battle night in and night out, all while having an intense travelling and playing schedule.

On the re-signing of Innes, we caught up with Head Coach Ryan Aldridge - “Innes came in and had an instant impact in the team, his size and strength along with his raw skill set gets me excited about his future both here and beyond the Knights. Innes, like all the others is a great young man that has fitted in the group seamlessly and we are very happy to have him around full time. I look forward to seeing his growth throughout the season and he will be a big part of the team this year"

We also caught up with the man himself on his return, with Innes equally as excited to be making the trip back South to join the Knights for the 24/25 season – “I’m very happy to be signed with a great organisation and be back at The Castle for the 24/25 season. From the jump, I’ve been welcomed and supported by everyone and have absolutely loved being here. I’m looking forward to the year ahead and being in the hunt for more silverware.”
