Since 2023, James Allder, previously deputy principal. Read geography at King’s College, London and LSE, then did his LPC at the College of Law. After starting teaching, he returned to King's to do a master's in educational management.
Entrance
No open days. Instead, prospective students and their parents are invited in for a meeting. ‘We want to understand what we can do for them,’ says school. ‘What we offer has to be right for the student.’ This is particularly important as families choose Collingham for a multitude of reasons. ‘Some students have struggled elsewhere, some have been bullied or lost time through illness, and the fact that we offer a very flexible timetable means we’re also a good option for those involved in sport or the arts at a high level.’ Accepts new entrants in year...
