Former NFL Quarterback Chase Daniel Lands New Job In Retirement
After a 14-year career as a journeyman quarterback with over a half dozen teams and a Super Bowl ring he received as a rookie, Chase Daniel called it a career. Now retired, he has a new gig.
Taking to X on Tuesday, Daniel announced that he will begin a new full-time media career at NFL Network working on a variety of shows and projects relating to both the NFL and college football. Daniel credited the part-time work he did with the NFL last year for the experience needed to reach this point.
I'm excited to announce the official start of my media career working on-air on @nflnetwork, co-hosting the new 33rd Team show "Chasin' It" with @wingoz, and co-hosting @TheAthletic Football Show w/ @RobertMays, for the upcoming NFL/College football season & beyond. Being able to work in-studio every Monday on NFL Network last season while I was still playing was an invaluable experience - it was a lot of work handling two jobs at once but I’m so glad I did, there's no substitute for doing the real thing & now I'm ready to kill it this season.
I’m going to be as real & as authentic as possible & give you guys insight to what it’s truly like to be in the NFL…what conversations are like inside the locker room, what it’s like in that first team meeting, & all my experiences thru 14 years. Big thanks to @NFL Network & everyone who has helped me prepare for this.... LET'S GOOOOO!
Over his 14 years in the NFL, Chase Daniel appeared in 74 games and started just five, going 2-3 in games for the Kansas City Chiefs and Chicago Bears.
We look forward to seeing what Daniel can do in his new role.
