As a Ticket Sales and Information Assistant, you’ll engage with our customers both face-to-face and on the telephone, ensuring they have everything they need for the perfect visit. Full training will be provided to ensure you gain the skills to excel in your position and enjoy a fulfilling summer.

Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently process sales via telephone, online, and in person.
  • Use an array of computer systems to facilitate sales and provide expert advice.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, always maintaining a friendly and professional demeanour.
  • Skilfully upsell to our customers on items such as gift aid and souvenir guides.

What You’ll Bring:

  • A naturally friendly and professional attitude, both in person and on the telephone.
  • Numeracy and computer literacy skills.
  • Proven excellence as a team player, ready to step in where needed.
  • Customer service/sales experience is desired but not essential.

Additional Information:

Contract and Hours: This position is for a fixed term from June to 29th September 2024. Registration is scheduled for 8 June 2024, and following this, you will be assigned to a training week starting either on 10th June, 17th June or 24th June.  You are guaranteed to work a minimum of 300 hours during your contract period (paid by the hour). Following the required period of paid training, you will typically work 37.5 hours per week, over 5 days out of 7, and you will be required to work regular weekends.

Consideration will be given should you be unable to fulfil the full length of the contract and need to finish from mid-September 2024. This can be discussed at interview.

Part-time Consideration: We are open to considering part-time contracts (3 or 4 full working days per week).
