Moosemart.com says: '... Parallel Universe is Mike's captivating documentary collage of original TUWP computerized demos, additional material, live TUWP performances and more ...'. Hmmm, carefully on wishlist.

It never came to a physical purchase of PU. But now with Spotify I admit this is a perfectly acceptable Keneally release, albeit not so accessible. I was wrong not to trust it before. Yes it sounds like a study to TUWP but PU stretches and boils over the edge. Synclavier (I think), guitars, an orchestra playing.

The act of rating collapses a musical n-D space to a mere dot on a line and it doesn't even take special powers. Any idiot can do it and does it plenty, useful or not.
But I've got a hard time with this album. Is it just a set of cute practice runs and experiments or an entirely new musical planet? I saw Nonkertompf grow a star and a half in 4 years, anything is possible. So I gave it an instinctive initial rating and we'll see where it leads.
