This place is located inside a market. The food is very good and the portion is big. I suggest having the gyros.

Go to lunch spot in NE. Best middle eastern food off central. Had the Shish Kabob rice plate, it was amazing!

My sister has eaten with me at the Holy Land at the state fair a few times. When we told her about the Midtown Global Market she wanted to go see it. She enjoyed the store and the food again. What a lovely place to...be able to visit and eat at.More

I visited while in town for business and while out of my comfort zone I reached and loved it. Just go. The staff helped me select an appetizer the covered a lot of special flavors.

Stopped for a quick lunch at Midtown Global Market. Went straight to Holy Land as we had not had a good felafel sandwich in too long a time. My partner ordered the felafel combo meal with fries and a drink. I had the combo meal...with rice and a drink. The sandwiches were stuffed to the brim of the pita with hot, delicious felafel balls, fresh veggies - tomato, cucumber - and plenty of delicious tahini. So full, in fact, we had to use a fork to eat some before we could pick them up. While my yellow rice was tasty, the french fries were simply amazing. The baklava I bought for later was great too. I want to personally thank Mahmoud for the absolutely delicious meal we had. We will not wait very long before returning. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!More

Food was great as always at Holy Land. But it was the staff that really made the visit one to remember. Staff was super friendly and went the extra mile to take care of us and to make sure we were satisfied and taken care...of. Will definitely be back!More

Mahmoud is my favorite! He always treats me like family. Vanessa at the register is awesome as well, she always gets my order correct and is super friendly. The rest of the staff is always very friendly as well. When I come to the global...market I usually choose to eat here. They have great prices and large portions.More

Best fresh hummus I have ever had. Not Just delicious but served in an aesthetically pleasing way. Also have the Greek salad really delicious and a much bigger portion than one would expect very reasonably priced. Not the fastest airport food But completely worth it...if you have a couple of extra minutes! They are tucked away behind the Salty Tart food truck so easy to miss look on your right.More

Thought we would go have the best gyro in the twin cities today. Was very disappointed gyro meat tasted like it had been frozen and reheated. Lot and lots of meat 2 little onions and very little Lettuce. This used to be the go to...place for the biggest and best gyro. Maybe the central location is better. I will never go back here. We have been going to Athens in robbinsdale and always said they were second to holly land . Not anymore. Holy land takes the back seat dropping below DINO s only the size is bigger. I wouldn’t go back to this location. Hope the central location is better. Athens will still be my go to from now on. Holy land I think you got to Big for your britchesMore

The food is excellent, portions are huge, and you have many options - buffet, combo meals or individual sandwiches. There also are "kid meals." Food is very fresh, tasty and moderately priced. I had a chicken kabob combo - definitely enough for two full meals....There are many, many food options in the Midtown Market, and in this section of the city. This is one of the best.More

A friend and I went to the Midtown Global Market this week. We both chose Holy Land for our lunch. MB had a huge gyros sandwich which she loved. She took about half home. I had the spinach sandwich, which is an appetizer. You can...also get it as part of a dinner. I told my friend that I used to stop at the main Holy Land location, on Central Avenue, on my way to meetings north of Minneapolis. The Spinach Sandwich - which is not a sandwich - is not easy to eat while driving, but I would try to get to my meetings early and eat it before going into the building. Holy Land also has a grocery store right there, so if you are inspired to try to Middle Eastern cooking. the ingredients are close by.More
