During our two-week vacation in Orlando, my wife, two daughters and I had the pleasure of staying at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, and I can confidently say it was the best lodging experience of our trip. Having stayed at three other hotels during our vacation, Crowne Plaza stood out as the clear favorite. The convenience of free parking, located just seconds away from the lobby, was a welcome relief, eliminating the hassle of long walks and the absence of hidden fees were particularly refreshing and added to the overall positive experience.

We had to get our towels from the desk on the 1st Floor, we were on the 5th. Crown Plaza has good breakfast? No sir, limited and you buy your breakfast everyday. If the Holiday Inn Vacation Resort wanted us to buy into their Vacation Resort Properties, they should have put us up in one for the 3 nights/4 days. Then Holiday Inn Vacation Club Resorts pulled a fast one, promising two trips for one cost. If you didn't buy the first time, they simply flag your phone number so it goes to voicemail. No matter the number you call, it goes to voicemail. Result, you don't get the second 3 night/ 4 day weekend at another of their Vacation Club Resorts. It was a good deal, but we weren't ready, right then to buy into one. BEWARE...

I normally don't write reviews but felt like I needed to do to warn people from this hotel, everything I wish I knew before I booked. Came here for a 7 day 6 night stay for my birthday, picked this hotel due to the reviews and the shuttle service offered. Not sure how this hotel has gotten such great reviews, probably because of the location. We used the shuttle ONCE because of the time availability and where the drop offs were. We ended up using uber most of the time, to disney it would be around $11-$13 usd each way which was not too bad but a lot more for universal about $30 depending on time and the surge (uploaded a copy of the shuttle schedule) Hotel was renovated however done very poorly and cheap.. bad paint jobs everywhere and rust everywhere in the bathrooms. There was a hair in the shower that was short black and curly, I have long black hair and my husband has no hair so it wasn't ours.. We asked for our room to be cleaned and they didnt even bother! our bathroom wasn't even touched, a dirty towel on the counter was still there when we got back on top of the soap but they had time to take a tissue out of the holder to make a flower or something, I rather you clean my bathroom than to touch a tissue paper to make something and I would never use that tissue because you touched it, waste. All you get is a small bottle of shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and a bar of soap. If you like hot showers, this hotel is not for you, the showers were "warm". The lobby also has a very very strong perfume smell, I definitely was not the only person bothered by this as a gentlemen I met while waiting for the elevator was also complaining about the smells. The hotel staff also need to work on their manners and maybe take some courses in customer service. Some were nice but one lady in particular not impressed! Samantha.. my husband had asked what time the pool closes and she didnt even bother to look up at us, responded very rudely and just kept doing whatever she was doing. Check in took about 30-45 minutes with 2 people working and 1 concierge just sitting there with a line up of 6 people, after a 5 and a half hour flight, I just wanted to get checked in. The doors in the rooms don't completely shut, you can see the outline of the lights in the hallway at night in the room. You can hear everyone in their rooms, we had a man that decided to start yelling into his phone on a conference call or something and I could hear him word for word through the joining door to our room. Would I recommend this hotel? Absolutely not, you can probably stay somewhere else for better service but I guess this is what you get for the price.

While planning a Disney vacation, I chose this hotel primarily for the free breakfast and shuttle to the park.
Upon checking in, I had to change rooms 3 times due to a broken door (#431), popcorn ceiling peeling right onto the bed (#430) and a broken patio slider and broken refrigerator (#407)! Manager did nothing but give me a broken English runaround that I could barely understand. Not even an apology for the inconvenience. She treated me like it was my fault!
The advertised free breakfast is only free if you pay extra money when making your reservation. Uh, if you have to pay more, it negates the whole concept of “free.” I argued this with the same useless manager, but got nowhere. Since I refused to pay $16+ per person for a meh breakfast buffet, we ended up eating breakfast elsewhere.
And if you want to be at the park when it opens at 8:00 you’ll need to find alternate transportation because their earliest shuttle leaves at 8:20-ish. We ended up having to take an Uber, to and from the park, for three days.
I may as well throw in that housekeeping is, shall we say, less than thorough.
The only bright spot in this disaster was the bartender, Patrick. He was friendly, personable and made us laugh.
This pit does not meet the typical Crowne Plaza standards and should be ashamed to use the name. They advertise things they don’t have and the management staff really couldn’t care less. They may look pretty on the outside, but shoddy quality and poor customer service are what’s underneath.
Definitely think twice!

Please know that we used to be a Comfort Inn, and that brand includes complimentary breakfast. We converted to an Independent IHG Hotel in December, and since the brand conversion, there is now a nominal charge for breakfast. The breakfast is an all you can eat buffet and includes coffee, tea, juice, a variety of cereals, yogurt, assorted pastries, bagels, Mickey Mouse Waffles, fruit, scrambled eggs and one breakfast meat which varies daily. Good proximity to parks for $150 per night if you are looking to spend your day away from the hotel, lobby and restaurant area seem recently renovated.
Unfortunately, rooms are tired, bedding and bath linen could and should use an upgrade.
We stayed for 3 nights and barely spent time at the property and was still showered with bad service.
We requested housekeeping service because from day one, we had cob webs in the bedroom and hair in both bed and bath linen, twice they came to our room to change the trash and towels, never making the bed or cleaning the cob webs even after requesting it to the front desk in two different occasions.
Twice while trying to eat at the hotel restaurant we were told that the Chef was not in at 5pm or at 9:45pm was told it closed at 9:30pm when the TV’ around the lobby said it was open until 10pm. The front desk could only tell us that they don’t work for the restaurant.
You can hear everyone in the hallways, guests or team members walking around early with loud radios or doors slamming. We had a room with a connecting door (without requesting for one) and could hear our neighbors loud and clear throughout the night, sleeping was not an option.
Would definitely not recommend.

Let’s start with the good:
Location is perfect for anyone visiting mostly the Disney area. Disney Springs is a 8min drive and most parks were within 15min.

Shuttle to the parks was not operational, because of COVID.
No free breakfast like their website says, because of COVID.
Bathrooms were dingy and the water pressure is weak.
I was charged a $12.98 Resort fee, that was not disclosed to me before hand.
Every time I was in the lobby, there was always a guest having an issue.
Walls are paper thin, you can hear EVERYTHING in the next room.
No room cleaning for the duration of your stay (unless requested 24hrs before), because of Covid.
We had a big issue with our neighbors smoking, and it was as if they were smoking in our room. Their solution was to put towels under our door. The next day we insisted they change our room, which they finally did.
The name Crowne Plaza comes with a standard that to me, this property does not meet. I’ve stayed at the Hyatt place next door and I would recommend it, over this Crowne Plaza.

This is the best hotel we stayed at while driving around Florida. It is located conveniently close to a plaza where you'll find great restaurants, shops and cafes. The sleek & minimalist decor is quite pleasant, and entire hotel is very clean, all the time. The rooms & bathrooms are immaculate, smell good, the beds are extremely comfortable and so are the pillows. We had breakfast every day, with a choice of buffet or you can order. You can also order espresso coffee at an additional cost. Every item was really good and freshly made, especially the fruit selection. Front Desk and entire staff were extremely helpful with every question we asked, always polite and welcoming. This is a place where we'll surely return every time we are in the area. Thanks to all at this great hotel!

We checked in to our room to see that there was no sofa just coffee table in the corner which was odd, asked front desk and they said the sofa's haven't arrived or something like that.
Overall; The rooms were huge but the balcony door old, dirty and you could barely open it. New furniture were nice but missing sofa very odd set up with no sofa. Part of bath nice but rusty showerhead and old shower. Hallway freshly painted but still had moldy smell, outside pool lokked nice but literally ice cold water so it was not useable and no hot tub. Front desk floor was ok.
The hotel seems remodeled in very cheap way, maybe the owners don't have the funds to close it down and do it properly at once understandable but the hotel should not be allowed to be called Crown Plaza while it is in this condition. We checked out and asked for refund since we did not want to stay there.
This hotel was disgrace to the Crown Plaza brand. Hopefully they will manage to make the hotel good and remodel it properly since rooms are big with balconies and in good location.

We enjoyed the room b/c it did not sit directly on the main road. We liked the force of water from the shower head & the sink was in the bathroom. It had all the basics. I would stay there again provided they fix the a/c controls. We froze all night. We’re not incompetent, we know how to adjust a control.

I am not sure as i had my own car. Can Uber 5-10 mins or walk maybe 20-25 mins to Disney Springs where you can pickup
all Disney transaction buses. Or send email to hotel directly.
"If you're going to have a bar and restaurant I have somebody that can run it it was closed for 2 days and they said didn't have the employees to run it and it didn't open until 5:00"Read full review
