The American Airlines flights available in this deal are nonstop economy, which includes one free carry-on bag and charges $75 to $85 each way for a checked bag, along with change fees. Alternatively, you can pay $85 each way to upgrade to the Main Cabin to receive a checked bag, free seat selection and the ability to change your flight without fees.

For example, the below round-trip flight from JFK to CDG is available on American for $379 in late January.

The non-Oneworld carrier flights available include at least one stop, and fare conditions vary by airline.

For example, this round-trip flight from LGA to LHR is available via Air Canada in basic economy for $500. Note that there's a short layover each way at Montreal-Trudeau International Airport (YUL).
