CFD service. Your capital is at risk.
General information only. All forms of investments (and in particular, trading CFDs, commodities and forex) carry significant risk, including the risk of losing more than the invested amounts, market volatility and liquidity risks. Past performance is no guarantee of future results. Such activities are not suitable for most investors.

Our verdict

Access over 60,000 instruments through its award-winning trading platforms.

Saxo's forex and CFD platforms offer a range of services that would appeal to more experienced traders with higher limits.

On the plus side, the broker offers a broad range of instruments, has strong education and research facilities, a well designed trading platform and it makes it easy to deposit or withdraw funds.

On the downside, Saxo's fees are higher compared to its competitors. It does not offer 24/7 customer service.

Pros

  • More than 60,000 instruments
  • Commodities, forex and shares on one platform via CFDs
  • Unique SaxoTrader platforms
  • High-quality trading tools including TradingView access

Cons

  • Higher minimal spreads than some others
  • Doesn't offer 24/7 customer support
  • Doesn't offer MT4 or MT5

Saxo Invested is a trading platform that offers CFDs on forex, commodities, indices and shares. You can access 182 forex spot pairs and 140 FX forwards across majors, minors, exotics, cryptocurrencies and spot metals.

Saxo's major point of difference when it comes to forex trading is their SaxoTrader platform, rather than the usual MetaTrader4 or cTrader platforms. Their proprietary platform can be used on all devices and is actually more flexible than MT4 in many ways.
