GARMENT DYED LEATHER / DYNEEMA®

The optimal fusion between Stone Island’s experience in garment dyeing techniques with ECCO®’s cutting-edge technology in leather tanning. The leather is laminated to the light non-woven fabric in Dyneema®, the strongest and most durable lightweight fiber in the world.
In the initial production phase of the boots, ECCO® ‘s Fluidform® process transforms the soft, shock-absorbing Phorene® liquid into an anatomically-profiled sole while fusing it directly to the leather upper. This allows the boots to be finished using Stone Island’s high temperature garment dyeing process.
The reversible vest can be worn with the leather or the Dyneema® side on the outside.
The first features a reflective fabric patch on the shoulders, the other one is characterized by an array of diagonal Velcro bands and snaps, to attach up to four boxy Naslan pockets.
Inside, a second vest in padded Naslan Light, wearable on its own, with the same diagonal bands to apply the pockets.
