Not one, but two!🥈🥈A huge congratulations to our talented John Lewis VM team, who worked with the wonderful @sarahfeatherdesign on this years Chelsea in Bloom entry. We’re thrilled to reveal that their hard work has paid off, having been awarded silver 🩶, from both the judges’ vote AND the ‘People’s Champion’ vote! This time last week, they worked into the small hours of the morning to pull off the magnificent display.
Leftover flower stems are being donated to The Confetti Club, which specialises in creating biodegradable confetti (with all profits going to charity), while leftover herbs will be donated to The Felix Project.

We are enormously honoured that we have been granted the Royal Warrant of Appointment to be Grocers and Wine & Spirits Merchant to His Majesty King Charles III. The Warrant is given as a mark of recognition to companies which have regularly supplied the Royal Household.
It is the only Warrant to be granted to a supermarket, and among the first to be awarded by His Majesty. Our Partners go above and beyond to deliver excellent service and drive positive change; the awarding of the Royal Warrant, which follows that granted by Her late Majesty The Queen in 2002, is a source of huge pride for each and every one of us.

This time last week we launched Farming For Nature, our new commitment to supporting our British farmers to move to nature-friendly farming 🌱
🌍 We all need to change the way we farm and at Waitrose, we’re committed to making that change now. That’s why we invited over 300 farmers to our own farm in Hampshire, the Leckford Estate to launch our new plan that will span over the next 10 years and will create real change to soil health and make sure that we leave the lightest possible footprint on the planet. 👣
We know that no two farms are the same, so with the support of @uniofreading and @leaf_farming we will develop guidance, cutting-edge research and a direct resource to information for our farmers to implement on their own farms 💚
