- Amir GlaserJerusalem, Israel4 contributionsThis place is beautiful! There's a boat that goes on the lake, but we haven't tried it. The drive there is simply stunning - Driving through think forest with extremely tall trees. The lake itself is gorgeous. Blue-sh green-ish color. We walked for about an hour or so on the trail that goes around the lake, which was fun.Written July 3, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dreamer2895702 contributionsWe've visited Bagno twice now, and our 4 year old son loves the gnome walk. If you think of all of the income generated by the gnomes for the town - including all the souvenirs sold - its a shame that a small amount of that income is not directed to maintaining the gnome houses. The path itself is fine, and on our last visit the fences had obviously recently been repaired. But the houses - one house (the library) had been badly damaged, with the door ripped off and the wooden books disturbed by presumably little hands. Our 4 year old was disturbed as to why the house was 'messed up'. The other houses are falling to pieces, with roofs falling off and lots of mud splattered up over the windows so its not possible to see inside. The spider's web had fallen down, and again we had to make up a story for our child as to why this was the case. Yes, there is a high influx of visitors, but why not have a weekly or monthly program of maintenance, paid for by the tourist tax (!) to maintain and repair the gnome walk. Its a shame, as its a lovely idea that is just not maintained very well.Written May 18, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AntabouttownBournemouth, UK105 contributionsA good place to get away from the heat of the valley. Relax by the little fishing lake or pop in for lunch at one of the two lakeside restaurants.Written August 31, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JulesFearonCounty Dublin, Ireland46 contributionsIt cost €20 per person to use the pool alone (caves not included) but it was the perfect way to unwind and kill a few hours. The pool isn't too big but has different areas with different pressure pumps so you can get an aqua massage all over your body. I'm not sure I'd go again at that price and would stay in the hotel overnight insteadWritten October 1, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
