Never count out The Shield! The Hounds of Justice's final ride was featured in a WWE Network special event – The Shield’s Final Chapter – in which Universal Champion Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns & Dean Ambrose once again went to battle against the formidable combination of Drew McIntyre, Baron Corbin & Bobby Lashley.

Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns and Universal Champion Seth Rollins sit down with Michael Cole for the final time ahead of the WWE Network special later this evening.

Finn Bálor def. Elias in an Intercontinental Championship Match
In the opening moments of the WWE Network special event, Elias took center stage with his guitar, belittling each member of the Shield and still clearly fuming over the earth-shattering SmackDown LIVE assault by Reigns on both he and WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon.

Although Elias’ pre-match musical performance turned into a surprise duet with the addition of his scheduled opponent, Intercontinental Champion Finn Bálor, the concert was unceremoniously canceled when the titleholder changed the words of the song to insult Elias. As a result, the offended challenger quickly changed things from musical harmony into all-out mayhem. 

Despite Elias initiating the attack before the bell, the resilient Bálor roared back in their subsequent Intercontinental Title Match and managed to overcome the strumming opponent with a quick, yet effective pinfall. 

Bayley & Ember Moon def. Ruby Riott & Sarah Logan of The Riott Squad
Though his title opportunity ended in defeat, Elias was determined not to let his craft take the loss, and his post-match musical attempt was soon enhanced by the voices of The Riott Squad who dubbed themselves "The Elias Squad" for the night. That tune hit a sour note as well, however, when Bayley & Ember Moon crashed the party.

In the closing moments of an explosive tag team showdown that would mark The Riott Squad's final match together following the events of the 2019 Superstar Shake-up, Bayley & Moon ultimately reigned supreme over Ruby Riott & Sarah Logan. When Liv Morgan attempted to interfere in the match and was ejected from ringside, the distraction paved the way for Moon to hit the Eclipse on Riott for the huge victory.

In the final ride of The Hounds of Justice, Universal Champion Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns & Dean Ambrose made their classic entrance from the crowd and joined forces one more time to battle the dangerous trio of Drew McIntyre, Baron Corbin & Bobby Lashley.

The final ride of The Hounds of Justice gets celebrated in the WWE Network special event The Shield’s Final Chapter, in which Universal Champion Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns & Dean Ambrose go to battle against Drew McIntyre, Baron Corbin & Bobby Lashley.

In the height of the action, after Reigns hit the Spear on Lashley, Rollins burned it down with the stomp on McIntyre and Ambrose hit Dirty Deeds on Corbin, The Shield came together in the ring to execute the Triple Powerbomb and scored the three-count heard around the world.

As the dust cleared on the historic contest, The Shield addressed the WWE Universe and put their three fists together once again in a highly-emotional send-off for the groundbreaking faction.

Though The Architect now journeys back to Raw to establish himself as a fighting Universal Champion, The Big Dog sets out to make SmackDown LIVE his yard and The Lunatic Fringe undertakes his life away from WWE, the grateful WWE Universe will always be able to appreciate the incredible legacy of The Shield.
