- griffin165Cape Town Central, South Africa25 contributionsIf you are in Cape Town there is really no need to go to JHB for a real Game Drive experience as it is all here at Aquila. It was a bit cold but we had the most stunning Game Drive spotting all the animals and at the end enjoyed a drink under the stars before heading back. On the get go the Elephants came to greet and driving with the lions what an experience. International tourists will enjoy this coupled with Cape Town beaches without having to travel a million miles! The whole place from the fantastic buffet meals, the star gazing, the drives and the relaxing areas is stunning! I really suggest an overnight experience to experience everything this resort has to offer. The staff was friendly to the max! Both our tour guides, Ben and tahlia were amazing and did everything they can to make us comfortable and to show us different spots. They were also very accommodating with anyone who needed extra help or concerns. It was a long day between the drive from Cape Town to the game reserve, the safari itself, and then back to Cape Town but it was totally worth it! We left completely amazed at the entire experience and definitely saying we would do it again and again. We totally recommend this safari. Also, I should mention that Ivan was great as well. He picked us up from the hotel on time and made sure to give us great commentary along the way. Once we were at the reserve, he made sure we were taken care of. From the diverse, beautiful landscapes to the thrill of spotting four out of the iconic Big 5 animals - lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo and leopard - the experience was truly awe-inspiring. While we didn't get to see the elusive leopard or cape buffalo, our expert guide provided fascinating insights that enriched the safari outings immensely. - Global49774000751Greater Johannesburg, South Africa7 contributionsThe trip to Kruger national park was a memorable one. The tour operator collected us from our hotel early in the morning at 05.00.
We entered the park through the Phabeni gate and it wasn't long before sporting the elephants thereafter the buffalos. The whole tour was informative as our tour guide was proving all the information about the different animals that we came across. We were able to spot 4 of the big 5.

The ranger was very nice and so kind to find the animals. My friend and I had Bafana as our tour guide and he was extremely knowledgeable and made sure to find our favourite animals the Giraffes. Metres away from animals I use to dream about seeing so close. My husband and I both felt that he had our best interest at heart and went out of his way to make everything run smoothly and be very enjoyable.
