The House of God: A place of prayer, learning, and welcome.

About Worcester Cathedral

Worcester Cathedral has been a place of Christian worship and prayer for fourteen centuries. The present building was begun in 1084 and is dedicated to Christ and the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Worship, Prayer, and Reflection

Worship and private prayer

The Cathedral's first and foremost purpose, of offering worship day by day, goes on. The Cathedral is currently open for private prayer and reflection (and visiting) Monday to Saturday 10am - 5pm and Sunday 1pm - 3pm. We also livestream an act of worship every day. The 1662 Book of Common Prayer and Common Worship of the Church of England are used daily. For further information about 'In-Person' and Livestreamed worship, please visit the link below.
