I will be starting the University of North Alabama on August as a Sophomore for the first time, therefore, my experience with this school is limited. So far, this seems like a pleasantly balanced school. I know i already feel welcomed and I'm looking forward to this new journey, striving towards success! This school seems like it will provide everything i need to make success my reality!
I am currently enrolled in nursing program in the University of North Alabama and it was a great experience for me. All of the faculty members of Anderson College of Nursing and Health Professions are extremely helpful, nice and dedicated with their teaching career. Every time I have struggles with my study and need some help or need to review my last exams, they are very willing to help me and even follow my improvement and give me some feedback. About the housing services, the housing environment was good for me since I received a housing scholarship. All resident assistants are helpful in helping me when I have troubles with my room and roommate. Besides that, the bathroom and air conditioner need to be improved since the heat machine doesn't work during the winter, and vice versa, the AC doesn't work during the summer. However, overall, my experience in UNA is still good and I love to pursue my degree in here.
UNA is a great college! I am able to get a world class education, from some of the most renounced faculty in their respective fields. The campus is beautiful and Florence is so accessible and friendly. The best part about UNA is the small class sizes and the connections that students make with their professors. I truly feel that my professors care for my education, wellbeing, and future outside of UNA. They are knowledgeable, kind, and will go out of their way to help students. Classes are small, which helps with the connection to professors and it also helps shy students (like me) feel more comfortable talking and engaging in class.
If I could change anything, it would be to see their graduate programs. Currently the graduate programs are relatively small and they have little to no funding accompanying them, leading graduate students to pay out of pocket and for undergraduate students to look elsewhere for their graduate degrees.
But overall, my experience at UNA as been great!
