Jennifer Kennedy
Jennifer Kennedy was the acting Republican Florida secretary of state from January 24 to January 28, 2019. Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) appointed Kennedy to the position after the resignation of Michael Ertel on January 24. Kennedy previously worked as the Department of State chief of staff.[1]
Kennedy previously served as acting Republican Florida Secretary of State in 2011. She took up the position following the resignation of interim Secretary Dawn K. Roberts, who left shortly before the inauguration of newly-elected Governor Rick Scott in January 2011.
