The Hills Have Eyes is a retro AMZN Fallout prequel movie

I’ve never seen the hills have eyes movie before. I’m a big fan of horror movies in general, but only started getting into them a few years ago. I decided today that I’ll check out the hills have eyes. I’ve already seen the entire fallout series, absolutely loved it. Huge fan of fallout 4 (PC/PS5). I’ve played fallout new Vegas too, loved it.

I start the movie, and within minutes I feel the same vibes as the fallout series. Geiger counter noise, hazmat suits, desert wastelands, old timey music. Then the story develops; raiders, kidnappings, radiated mutants! It became so clear how much overlap there was. At one point there’s a scene of an abandoned gas station and I’m not kidding my brain just exploded with “red rocket station!!!!”. Subsequent scenes of wasteland people walking around with rifles and weapons, then someone has their head smashed with a puncturing hammer. Just blantent similarities. I loved it.

So maybe the Hills Have Eyes should be included in Fallout parallel universe lore canon?
