We had five kids and my mom went grocery shopping we had to wait in the car and we made sure we were exceptionally good, we got these cookies. They came in a box with the string and were absolutely delicious. I pick these kind every single time we made sure that we were exceptionally good so we can get these cookies they still taste the same after all these years you can’t go wrong with. them I love love love these you can absolutely go wrong with these cookies. They are hard to find in the stores and if you do find them they are a little bit pricey, so I tend to order from Amazon. That’s a whole lot cheaper if you have never tried these, you’ve got to.

I sought out this animal cracker & ordered them after purchasing an alternative locally! I hadn’t purchased Animal Crackers in a few years & was unsure of the packaging or brand. That alternative didn’t have the taste I remembered. Then I searched for the Animal Cracker of my & my daughters’ memories and found what we actually had years ago. It was Barnum’s Animal Crackers which are a delicious snack without being overly sweet. The facsimile of Barnum’s is a hollow cracker lacking any flavor. So Barnum’s is our favorite with just a smidgeon of sweetness! And the small packages travel well in my purse.

Ever since our kids were born, we've put animal crackers in their Christmas stocking. It's not that these taste so great (although I only eat them at Christmas and I have to admit I enjoy that), but it's been a family tradition and they like it. These are not the usual boxes we get, but couldn't find the boxes last year so this was our fallback, and it worked well, so will probably keep doing it. The bags are a good portion size, and the value through S&S is good.

I bought these cookies for my grandchildren, unfortunately they never got a chance to taste them ! As I opened the box and I saw the pictures of all the circus animals that inner child immediately came back!!! I could see myself at the corner store with my Dad on Saturday , while he was getting all the meats at the butcher counter I was getting my box of Barnum and Bailey circus animal cookies and Tid Bits and a chocolate lemon pie ! Life was easy back then 😌! But oh how lucky I felt to have that box hanging off of my arm , it was the cats meow! That was the only downside. They come in a bag now , so you can't eat half and sport your little box around like it was some designer purse that cost you your whole paycheck. ( just a personal girl thing lol ) 😆 . I will order again and try to leave some for the kids!
