    Definitely worth a visit
This isn't my first visit, and I'm so glad I had opportunity to return. You may think that £13 entry for an adult is on the steep side, but when you see the work that is done and the rescues that have been achieved its very little in comparison. The entry way to the park can be a little steep, but short, once in the park the majority of the areas are flat and easy to get around. There are lots of things to see and not just seals, there are a variety of birds and goats, pigs, gibbons and so much more. Take your time to explore, listen to the seal talks, and generally just take time out of your day to relax and enjoy the tranquility, as well as coffee and cake, and feel good in the fact that your visit will have helped towards the rescue and release of other animals that find themselves in harms way.

    Great little place
What a great little place to visit. The kids had so much fun here, although it’s not very big it passed a couple of hours. All the animals here looked well looked after. I do think the water in some of the seals needed sorting it was hard to see them as it was quite dirty. We did take a picnic but chose not to eat in there but went and sat on the beach instead. I don’t think we would visit again

    Hidden gem
We visited here on our way home from our week stay in Sutton on Sea. We were really surprised at how big it actually was, there was lots to see and the kids were very entertained seeing all the animals. Birds, Lizards, Pig, Emu, Meerkat, Fox, Guinea Pigs, Monkeys, Owls, Rabbit, Snakes and much more! Highlight for us was watching and hearing about their 7 seals (8 including baby) the kids thoroughly enjoyed watching at feeding time! Great food and drink facilities and we spent loads in the gift shop!! Great morning spent on our way home, will definitely be back next year!

    Mablethorpe Seal sanctuary.
A wonderful family attraction well worth visiting. Give yourself 2 hours to get around this attraction. There are plenty of animals and creatures to see here, and it's very educational to. This place is disable friendly and has a good cafe and toilet facilities on site. There is a good gift shop here to with plenty of gifts to choice from. Please note on quiet days with few visitors this place may close before 4pm... However this is a great day out.

    A great couple of hours.
Parking very good for large motorhomes no parking fee in low season. Fee in high season refunded on entry to seal sanctuary. A great place to spend a couple of hours more like a mini wildlife park. We'll worth a visit very helpfull staff. Kids would love it.

    Beautiful, kind and educational sanctuary
Superb effort to house a huge range of fascinating animals in comfortable, stimulating environment that replicates their natural habitat. Wonderful work done to support / rehabilitate seals. Excellent educational information provided to take us on a trip back in time to what Lincolnshire was like all the way back to the dinosaurs; in this way it's like a museum in addition to an animal sanctuary. Also very beautiful, well kept. Information provided was very easy to digest/ accessible for children and adults. Great range of stunning, global animals (not just local wildlife). Would go again!

    Fantastic little day out
I came here back in the summer with my 6 month old at the time. It was a lovely day out with plenty for him to look around at and plenty of things for me to see, do and read. Would be perfect for a family trip out and we can’t wait to return. The cafe was lovely and every member of staff I encountered were friendly and approachable. So much more than I thought there would be!

    Fab afternoon out.
Great way to spend a Saturday afternoon! We were staying in Hull and wanted to see some animals and found this place by chance. After a very scenic drive we arrived and immediately greeted by 2 of the 3 rescue seals playing. The park was very well arranged with a clear path on where to go next. Got to give the cockatoo a head scratch and all the animals were in very clean environments and seemed very happy. Seals were definitely the stars of the show. Very worth the money will be back!

Nice small sanctuary but not just seals
Visited Saturday morning in May. Nice place that has been around for years. I’m 50 now and I have photos of me here when I was about 6 or 7 years old. Not been since then. Animals look well looked after, their pens clean. They have a marked route to make sure you don’t miss anything but it’s not obligatory. Watched the seals being fed and the lady gave lots of information about the resident seals. No sign of some of the animals in the pens, but that’s the risk you take visiting somewhere like this. I’m glad they don’t force the animals into the open. Will visit again but hopefully will leave it less than 43 years next time.

    Truly Champion
I recently visited the Mablethorpe Seal Sanctuary and Wildlife Centre whilst on a long weekend with my family at the beginning of May 2024. I found this a wonderful place and a centre that championed animal welfare and rescue, plus educates you on said animals and the ancient natural history of the local and surrounding areas. I was amazed by the rescue stories and successes, as well as the care for the animals, which I felt was on par, if not better than a larger animal collection I previously worked for in London. In addition, the cafeteria was very well priced and incredibly clean, as was the entire sanctuary. The price of admission was very affordable, especially when you think of all the grand work they are doing. If you are in the Mablethorpe area, I would highly recommend a visit.

Visited here whilst staying in Skegness. Its not somewhere for a full day out but good for a couple of hours. Parking is £2 and then you pay for entry but its reasonably priced. Plenty to see and set in a nice area.

Visited in August and overall very pleased with visit, a lot more than just seals, more like a small zoo. I personally felt the family ticket was a touch over priced at 18 pounds but it didn't spoil our visit. You have to pay to park too which given that you can't walk to it from mablethorpe town centre is a little cheeky making the visit 20 quid. We were there about an hour and a half. Interesting finding out about the seals and the work the sanctuary does for them. I also liked that unlike many other attractions like this, sealife centre for example that there aren't begging boxes everywhere and people pestering you for donations all way round. Overall I would recommend and would most likely visit again as kids loved it.

Visited the seal sanctuary whilst staying in mablethorpe. As others have said its not just a seal rescue centre. There are other animals such as meerkats which are really cute, seagulls( rescue) gannets, rabbits chickens a stork, goats a lynx cat and of course seals. You follow a set path around the compound and it takes around 3/4 of an hour to complete. It's interesting and worth a visit as the work they do here is worth the entrance fee.

A geat day out, good to so the recued seals being taking care of. Even nicer to see rescue animals having a good home, http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/53300, the link is for signing the petition to keep the rescued handicapped birds in the sanctuary, they deserve a good treatment and not to be out down, dennis and staff keep up the good work! Thanks for a lovely afternoon!

If you drive here you May need to pay a few pounds for car park as well as entry but i think you could park just down the road a little and escape the fee.We enjoyed the couple of hours we spent here the kids loved the baby meerkats. We tried to watch the staff feeding the meerkats but struggled to see as quite limited viewing area. There are many more animals than just seals here, but the highlight were the seals for us as this is what we came to see mainly. We spent about half an hour after we'd walked round and round the place and left, just outside the entrance talking to/at Popeye who is one of the rescued long term resident seals there. I think he enjoyed our company even though it was pouring with rain!there may have been more seals in this small area which isn't actually inside the rest of the sanctuary, than what were inside the sanctuary. The place still has some of the old displays that I remember seeing when I was a kid. They were building a new cage for sea birds, didn't look big but wasn't finished when we visited.staff were friendly and helpful.oh and the education room/class room has some creepy crawlies in there too be warned if you don't like spiders!

I think the name of 'Seal Sanctuary' is a bit of a misnomer as it is more like a small animal zoo.
You followed a winding path past lots of well kept small enclosures, containing meercats, birds, monkeys and other small animals. There are seals, and a seal 'hospital' but they didn't seem to dominate the sanctuary.
There is lots for children to see, and a small cafe and toilets. We spent a few hours here and thought it was worth the entrance fee.
